  1. mute

Add the mute participant option to their icon on the main meeting screen. The mute feature is available under the participant icon, but it would be helpful to find the person right on the main screen. With large groups of people in the meeting, it would be helpful to have the mute option right on the screen for the person who is creating too much background noise or feedback vs scrolling through the list of people in the participant window.

  2. Move the ring back from the desktop speakers to the the headset

When calling another Teams user the "Skypish" ring back comes out thru the desktop speakers and not the headset. I typically run my desktop muted and it is annoying there is no ring back in that case. Even with the speakers on it's annoying that the ring back could disturb a coworker.

  3. Configure ring duration

In Skype the user has the ability to configure call ring duration of anywhere from 5 to 60 seconds before the call is sent to voicemail or alternate number. We would like this feature in Teams. Our executives use this setting frequently.

  4. Display Chat Window While in a Call

Regularly I get into a call with someone & then have the need to send items via that chat.

Instead of displaying the call window in full screen, it would be great to have that minimized & display the chat similar to Skype for Business.

  5. Pop up a widget for incoming calls to make it easy to answer the call (e.g. Like Skype)

If a call comes in on Skype, it pops up a window that lets me answer. Teams lack this and even makes me hunt for which contact is calling so that I can answer it.

  6. Keep the Mute/Audio icon visible onscreen when on a call.

How many times have you been on a call, and someone has to say. "Joe, are you talking with your mute on?" What if you could always see the current "mute" status when you're on a call so you can avoid this common problem.

  7. Telephone not ringing on Speaker

If Headset is set as the normal Audio, Telephone ringing is not on the built-in Speaker. In Skype you can adjust this. Please prvide the sam feature for Teams-Phone.

  8. When video calling, pop out into its own window

When you make, or receive, a call in Teams, i want to pop it into its own window similar to how SFB worked. This is because i have my chats on one screen and my videos on another screen and many times, if we are sharing screens, i make it full screen. When it does so inline, i am forced to move my teams window to my other monitor and then have to move it back when finished.

  9. Adjust the volume of individuals in a group call

Like discord I would like to adjust the volumes of each member in the call.
This is to adjust volume levels to the microphones they are using, or lower background noise from other participants.

  11. Call Queues should follow call forward settings

I don't understand why this isn't already the default setting. When a user sets up call forwarding in their client calls that come from a Call Queue should be treated like any other call. It should forward to the number they want to receive the call on.

  12. Enable sharing system sounds during screen-sharing

We've been using Skype so far to review projects internally, and liked to have the option to share system sounds while screen-sharing (some of our projects are videos with voiceovers).

Would it be possible to add the same functionality in Teams?

  13. Manage On-prem Phone Numbers

Now that we have the ability to use Direct Routing to assign an "OnpremPhoneNumber" to a Resource Account via the Set-CsOnlineApplicationInstance cmdlet, it would be nice to take it a step or few further.

I think it would be nice to be able to enter a list/range of "On Prem Phone Numbers" into Skype/Teams.

1, we would be aware of the full range.
2, we can pick from a list when assigning a phone number in the TAC. 3, we can see what unused numbers there are either in the SBAC or using PowerShell. Or the next available.
    4, we…

  14. Presence based Call Queues/Groups

In Skype for Business on-prem Response Group Groups presence based routing methods:

Longest idle - to offer a new call first to the agent who has been idle the longest (has had a presence of Available or Inactive in Skype for Business Server the longest) .

Parallel - to offer a new call to all available agents at the same time, the call is sent to the first agent who accepts it.

We use these extensively and can't migrate to Teams without finding a replacement. Please add this functionality to SfB Online and Teams Call Groups.

  15. show call time

    Hello,

in teams it is not possible to see how long the call duration was. (after hanging up the connection) IN skype and skype for business this is. Is it possible to add a log line of the duration of the call.
Second request: Is it possible to add a log line that a person has called and the date and timestamp to it. Now this is visable in the activity log but without the time stamp.

  16. Being able to create break out rooms in Microsoft Teams video meetings

I am a user of zoom and really enjoy the ability to create breakout rooms during calls. Helps to battle the talking at feeling of video calls

  17. Ability to call either teams uri or PSTN number

In Skyp4B client you can choose to make either a skype call or a call to a PSTN number from your contact list.
Would love to have this feature in Teams as well so you can right click your contacts and pick either Teams-Teams call (via uri) or call the contacts cell phone/PSTN number through direct routing.

  18. Save Audio/Video Settings for Future Meetings

Every time I join a meeting, I'm prompted with a "Choose your audio and video settings" box... and every time, video is turned on and audio is turned off. I want the opposite settings so I have to toggle them for every meeting. Please save my settings for future meetings. Add a check-box to "Show these settings for every meeting" or "Save these settings as default". I want to be able to click "Join Meeting" and immediately join the meeting with predictable settings... prompting for these settings is a waste of time.

  19. Visual feedback when I speak would be helpful

When I join a team meeting, the profile images of all other members in the meeting are displayed. Whenever one of them speaks, a subtle "sound wave" effect radiates out from the speaker's profile image. This is useful, as it lets me see who is speaking.

However, when I speak, I do not see any feedback at all. This means that if my microphone cuts out, or I forget to un-mute myself, I have no idea that nobody can hear me. On the other hand, I may forget to mute my microphone while someone else is speaking, and accidentally inject…

  20. Select Webcam in Settings

Using the settings button while on a web-call appears to have the option to choose which webcam you would like to use, but not all webcams show up from the drop down list (only one appears). Users should be able to select the webcam they want to use for the call in the settings.
