  1. Integration for Microsoft Project

Enable integration with Microsoft Project to see a project timeline, work breakdown, schedule, and dependencies. Additionally, teams could provide notifications to members about dates in the project.

The team is still reviewing this item. I hope to know of a decision soon.

  2. Embed Media

If you paste a link it should embed the media right in the chat (Gif, mp4, youtube, Vimeo, Soundcloud etc.)

  3. Full Teams Client API including Call Control

Microsoft Teams should have completed Client APIs so that third party apps can be created to fill specific needs.

This API should allow call control of the Microsoft Teams application. Necessary call control features include:
    • dial/call
    • call answer
    • hang-up
    • hold/off hold
    • call transfer (all types: blind, consult, safe)
    • add participant
    • mute/unmute
    • park/unpark
    • call as a delegate
    Some general features include:
    • search contacts
    • get contact presence
    • get contact list folders/contacts
    • setup contact list folders/contacts
    • get/set my presence
    • get/set my note
    • get/set my delegates
    • get/set…

  4. TO DO

Add Microsoft To Do into Teams via Tab or connector. I can add WunderList but not To Do

  5. Kuando BusyLights

Teams Needs to allow a connector to be developed for Kuando Busylights. They are used in MANY open office arangements and companies can't transition to Teams from SfB until the connector is developed. To do that Microsoft needs to release the call and presence API documentation.

  6. Add ToDoist integration

ToDoist is one of the most widely used task managers for business and personal use. Having Teams integrate with this product would be fantastic.

  7. Adaptive Cards + Webhooks

We NEED webhooks to support Adaptive Cards. MessageCards are not flexible enough!

  8. Yammer Connector: Support for private groups

We have large private groups that we want to connect to Teams, but can't because the connector options we need are limited to public groups.

  9. Allow for explicit Connector configuration (not possible in MS Teams because of O365 Groups drawbacks in this area

Allow for explicit Connector configuration (not possible in MS Teams because of O365 Groups drawbacks in this area)

Currently if you don't set Connetors in O365 Groups via powershell command to disabled you would have it fully open in O365 Groups.

The MS Teams app suffers from this drawback because you cannot allow Connectors. On the MS Teams admin console it looks like one could control Connectors, but if you get the deeper dependency to O365 Groups and that the Setting there is "oversteering" MS Teams, you see all granularity is not helping you with Connectors.

    On Enterprise Level this…

  10. OneNotes sections

Have a Team use ONE OneNote *BUT* make all channels use a section group and also support creating sections within that section group.

Then the overall onenote would be semi-organised and also making the channels having the opportunity to group and extend note taking more freely.

    declined  ·  Warren responded

The feature team has declined this request due to the fact that a similar experience already exists.

You can achieve very similar functionality with the existing integration. The OneNote integration has been redesigned so that you can add an entire notebook as a channel tab, but always show a particular section (be it new or existing). Within each tab, you can also create other sections as well as pages within any section to better organize your notes.

Thank you for your feedback and suggestions.

  11. Recurring Tasks

Being able to set recurring tasks on a month to month basis would be ideal. You can use a work around by creating meetings, but it would be more helpful to have tasks that your entire team can tick off, yet will recur.

  12. Add Microsoft To Do into Teams

Add MS To Do as a connector. Teams rocks and To do helps me keep track of my to do list on top of keeping track of my teams. Together they are a power house. Better than the current plug in/apps :)

  14. When I select the "Reply all with IM" in Outlook it only opens a Teams chat window with the sender, same as "Reply with IM"

I turned on Teams as my default IM option from Outlook, but when I select the "Reply all with IM" it only opens a Teams chat window with the sender, same as "Reply with IM". Another colleague confirmed the same behaviour. Is this a bug, or is there something else I need to do in my setup for this to work correctly?

  15. Link to a Google Team Drive

The current ability to add folder from Google Drive works very well, with one exception: folder that are part of a Team Drive within Google Drive cannot be added (they simply don't show up in the list of folders to pick).

Being able to add a folder from a Team Drive would be very valuable to us as we start to use this feature more in Google Drive.

  16. OneNote is broken on Teams

Late last week, OneNote on Teams stopped working whether you are using the desktop application or the web based. Creating a new OneNote tab on Teams, it still does not work as well. All we get for a message is:

    "We can't access this notebook.

You might not have permissions to view it, but your IT Admin show be able to help you."

Previously, OneNote had been working. If OneNote is accessed directly with OneNote application, it will work fine.

This appears to be a bug on Teams as others are reporting the same issues as well. Could this be…

  17. remove assignment button

Make it possible to delete the assignment button in the UI. We disable the assignment button. We already disable the function, but still the button appears in the application and on the web..

  18. Add Azure DevOps/VSTS Wiki Tab to the Teams connector

Having the Dashboard and Kanban Tabs is great. adding the Wiki Tab as well would make it full circle! :)
Adding it as is would be good already (with Markdown and preview pans) but to make it really go viral, adding it as a WYSYWIG editor, (just like Teams's) that generates the markdown behind would make it finally accessible to everyone. just markdown generation would be perfect. people can go add HTML if needed later on the portal

  19. XMind integration in Teams

XMind is a freeware mind mapping/concept mapping tool. Although there is already support for Mindjet (commercial), being able to work in XMind will help non-profit organisation like ours to brainstorm/cluster on remote or on site.

Hopefully you can help us with this :)

  20. Integrate To-Do

To-Do is great. Teams is great. Having both in one location would be amazing. Also, if assigned a task in Teams, having it appear in To-Do would be amazing.
