  1. Multitasking tabs

Add tabs to the top or bottom for switching between multiple documents that are open simultaneously. Add the ability to drag the tab out to an open window, so that we can see two documents side by side. The way IE or Chrome handles this is intuitive and effective.

Currently, I'm stuck to working on one document at a time. This causes me to not use teams nearly as much since I cannot effectively multitask.

  2. Add a functionality enabling to merge / split Teams Group

Organizations evolve and teams or projects split or merge. A functionality enabling splitting or merging Teams Group (and thus retrieving easily Files, OneNotes, etc...) would stick to "real life"

  3. Refresh Button for Teams

I am using the Windows Team application and sometimes I can't tell if I am looking at the offline information or online information until I click on several tabs and channel to prompt me to sign in. Please create a refresh button so we can make sure we are logged in.

  4. Add a favorites tab that keeps my favorite teams and chats in one place.

On the left-hand panel there should be a "Favorites" Tab, that list all of my favorited Teams and chats in one place. Having two separate tabs for Teams and Chats is annoying. Also, when you go to the "Favorties tab" it should group the Teams and Chats separately. Thanks.

  5. Log out & Quit buttons

Guys, whole world (including your apps like Skype or Skype for Business) has Quit/Exit/Close button on the bottom of context menu, with Team I always end up with logging out instead of closing application. Very simple to change, very annoying if not changed.

  6. Disable screen capture

Prohibit attendees from taking print screens / screen grabs of what is being presented in Microsoft Teams (similar to how you can't take a screen shot of a rights protected email - the screen goes black).

  7. Intergrate a dashboard into Teams to display live queue stats, pstn stats, and reports

Everyone should be smashing "vote" on this.

It would be nice if there was an app button on the left called Dashboard that works similar to Azure's dashboard where you can customize the widgets. It would be nice if this dashboard could render live call queue stats, average wait times, agents signed in, which agents are talking, standard call center reporting stuff, teams sign-ins, PSTN reports, and various teams chat reporting.

This should have role-based permission access.

The live queue statistics alone would be a significant added value.

Reporting could leverage Power BI in some fashion.
    Creating custom reports.

    Thank…

  9. Let user reorder tabs

Tabs on the left might be better if the individual user can reorder them to their liking and use

  10. Can we have an option to get rid of the Store icon in Teams?

Yeah, I get it, Microsoft wants to sell ****.

In a corporate environment, though, I can't actually buy anything. Nor do I want anything except a collaboration app that isn't a pain **********. So the icon is just more clutter in what I feel is an already-cluttered interface.

(I'm sure there are free apps in the store; I just don't care.)

  12. "Sticky" one liner on top of channels, used for members out of office, latest build numbers, etc

Customizable one liner on top of channels. This will help team members know who's out of office (unavailable) and/or latest build being released. Or, pizza in the conference room :)

  13. View bookmark for Saved messages

I appreciate the new Reactions for messages. However, I also rely very heavily on Saving messages. Since adding the new Reactions, the bookmark for saved messages is no longer visible on the message without opening the context menu -- this is very inconvenient. Please display the bookmark again on the message! Thanks

  14. attachments

Attaching multiple attachement to one post is a mess... can only do one by one. Total waste of time.

  15. Simpler editor without formatting (WYSIWYG)

As a developer, we share a lot of code snippets and logs information. Would be great to have a simpler text editor, with no formatting (pasting something from the web is often painful) for composing messages.

It could use markdown for formatting, keeping it user-friendly.

Maybe an option in the settings to use the simpler editor would fit better for all types of users.

  18. Pop-out option when viewing a screen share

The screen share window currently must remain within the teams desktop application window. When I am involved viewing a screen share, it would be nice to be able to pop out the sharing window so that I can continue to use the teams application for other chats and such. This would let me use other monitors that have more space to effectively view the screen share without needing to move my teams window from the location i normally display it.

  19. Add a shortkey to jump to unread messages

Slack has the all-round shortkey Ctrl+K, which allows me to jump to any chat (group/channel/person). It automatically lists channels/chats with unread messages at the top. So jumping through unread chats is just 2 clicks each, without using the mouse. I'd love to have the same feature in Teams!
