  1. When making a chat window active, set cursor

When a chat pop-up is clicked, opening Teams, the Cursor should default to being active. this saves the user from having to move the mouse down to the text box to then type.

  2. Auto Spellcheck should operate like Word, Outlook, etc.

    I can't believe this isn't posted.

If Teams is intended to be a primary project communication platform, this NEEDS to be addressed. It is good at recognizing a misspelled words, but the next step is where it fails miserably. I'll get a short list or a list of 20 options, or it just face-plants. The word "Didnt" without the apostrophe, only suggests, "Diderot". However, lowercase "didnt" will suggest the correct punctuation. Whaaat?! Oh, and the biggie: why cant i add a word to a Dictionary. We all work with uniques terms, words and names, that are constantly being asked to…

  3. F11 to toggle "Full Screen" mode

A number of software and web browsers support using F11 to toggle Enter Full Screen mode. Can this be added to Teams?

  5. Chat View

I want to be able to have my chat I am currently in while still seeing all open chats I am in on the left at all times. Not only when I click on chat. Like Skype.

  6. Improve the interface

    Hi there,

I'm using constantly Teams app and I think it's a good product but not as good as it can be.

I would like to ask you if there is anything in the loop of improving the interface/accessibility.

I always find the current interface not smart or intuitive as you my have to do multiple task in the same time such as: being in a call, taking notes, visualise a document; which if all are in Teams it's impossible to access all at once and currently there is no function of going back to a view from your previous…

  7. Make the Teams navigation bar editable

The Teams navigation bar includes "Activity", "Chat", "Teams", "Calendar", "Calls", and "Files".

Under the 'more options' ellipses, other useful tools are available such as "Shifts" or "Planner". If a Team is making use of one of these other tools, it would be convenient if that tool were able to be pinned into the navigation bar for easy access for the entire team.

It would also be convenient to be able to re-order the navigation bar for team members to prioritize tabs they use most often.

8. Make the different content sharing options more clearly distinguishable

When sharing content, many users are finding the different options between desktop, window, and presentation difficult to distinguish - especially as they can be a little overwhelming in number! A window is often shared rather then the screen leading to confusion and delay. Please make the different sections much clearer either by making the option label clearer and/or by visually separating them out using tone and/or colour. Thanks

  9. Cannot reorder Teams if there are more than monitor window height. Cannot reorder Teams at all except with mouse (accessibility violation)

If you have more Teams than will fit vertically in the available space in your monitor/window, you will not be able to drag any above a certain point, making it possible to reorder them. The pane does not scroll up, even when the mouse approaches/surpasses the edge.

Also, AFAIK, using the mouse is the only way to reorder Teams. For people who cannot use a mouse, there is no solution.

At a minimum, please offer these (hopefully low-hanging) solutions:

    1. Right-click a Teams menu and choose "Move Up / Move Down"

    2. Somewhere in Teams, offer an option: "Order Teams Alphabetically". A…

  10. Yealink Microsoft Teams Display Settings

If you have time, may you please provide the ability for an end user to adjust their screen size for text and icons when using a Yealink T58A Microsoft Teams desk telephone as an accessibility option?

    Thank you very much.

  11. Tiny URL to files in sharepoint

When copying a link via Get Link menu from files tab the URL is too big and makes it difficult to read the comments added with the URL.

It would be better if Get Link menu can give a shortened URL (like tinyurl).

  12. Custom color options for meeting tools overlay (Enter full screen, Meeting Notes, etc.)

The colors of the overlay icons for the meeting tools can be difficult to see when certain content is shared. Provide an option in Teams to customize the color and contrast of the overlay tools.

  14. Fully integrated High-Contrast Accessibility when opening files in Teams

You can make Microsoft Teams better by providing High-Contrast Accessibility support when opening documents within Teams.

Currently, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote files do not open in High Contrast. within Teams.

Selecting the Teams High-Contrast theme has no impact on this action.
Additionally, Windows 10 High-Contrast settings can't be applied, as the action of opening documents is occurring within the Teams "shell".

    Thanks,

  15. I need multiple tab on Teams

When I open another sub-channels on teams, I need to choose "Open in new tab" to avoid to lose my previous search.

ie : if I am on Teams > General > Files > sub folder 1 > sub folder 2 > file, I need to keep this path to open Teams > General > Files > subfolder n > file

  16. A heavy app

Its a heavy app and it is affecting perfrormance of my phone and my other devices. Besides the layout and tabs could get better. Display/presentation is important these days, work can be done though purple color is fine.
Im new user to it took me quite some time to understand where and how I can upload my work.

  17. Copy Last One Word when the sentence is long

Cannot copy the last word in numbers when the sentence is long.
When the mouse is moving to the last word, the icons like this message and save message keeps popping out. Please see the attachment and please help to fix it.

  18. Have the Links Contained in Emails Open the Teams Application Directly

When clicking the "Reply in Teams" button located inside the emails that result from mentions, it currently pulls up the browser. Then there's a wait until the browser window pulls up the conversation inside Teams application. This is inefficient for the user and their breaks work flow.

It would be helpful if click in the email link brought the user directly into the Teams application.

  19. Focus lost when switching from to and from Teams app

When I edit an Excel file inside Teams app, and then switch windows, when I come back the focus is lost in the Excel sheet - very annoying for any cut-and-paste operations to require an additional click every time. The focus in the Teams app should be persistent.
