  1. Link from Planner app task to actual task in Teams

    The Planner app in Teams provides an overview of tasks assigned to a user in various Teams channels.
    Typically it would be useful to be allowed to navigate back to the actual task within Teams to review the task within the context of the channel/tab/etc.

  2. Make the Teams navigation bar editable

    The Teams navigation bar includes "Activity", "Chat", "Teams", "Calendar", "Calls", and "Files".

    Under the 'more options' ellipses, other useful tools are available such as "Shifts" or "Planner". If a Team is making use of one of these other tools, it would be convenient if that tool were able to be pinned into the navigation bar for easy access for the entire team.

    It would also be convenient to be able to re-order the navigation bar for team members to prioritize tabs they use most often.

  5. Create a "saved bookmarks" icon on the left along with Activities, etc.

    We use bookmarks a lot to make sure we don't miss stuff we want to follow up on. We can access all of our bookmarks under our profile, but it would be far more convenient if we could access it with one click. My suggestion is that there should be a bookmarks icon along the left bar where Activity, Teams, etc. are located.

  7. Favorite or Saved tab in menu

    Can you make a Saved or Favorits tab under the files tab on the left menu? It would increase productivity alot.

  8. Enable scrolling through a channel with keyboard

    When I'm working from home, I frequently am using a touchpad and keyboard for my work, so clicking on a scroll button and dragging is really hard and inconvenient.

    Expected: When I click the pointer in a channel, a message should be selected, and the up and down arrows should move to the previous and next message, respectively.

    Currently: Here is video.
    0:01 I select the channel
    0:04 move my pointer into the channel and click hoping to see a message selected.
    0:07, 0:09 I move a little closer to a message, and click again and again. Still nothing.
    0:10…

  9. Split Screen when in a meeting

    When in a meeting allow the shared content screen to go to half of the teams window while the other half has teams functionality (chat, groups, files etc.) to allow better multitasking. Either right/left or top/bottom orientation would be preferable.

  10. Code block with language name and syntax highlighting

    In github or other platform, we just need to
    ```cs
    public static void Main() {
    DoSomething();
    // comment
    ```
    and will get it beatifully syntax highlighting.
    But in MSTeams, we need to
    1. click on [format] button
    2. click on [...] button
    3. click on [Code snipet]
    4. click on [>] to expand language menu
    5. click on language name
    6. typing code
    7. click on [Insert] button

    Too much click :( too much distract because my finger mush leave keyboard to grab a mouse and click.

    MSteam should support quick formating code based on language name after ``` like…

  12. Make it possible for MS Teams to learn words like most other applications so that if I get a word underlined as misspelled I can add it.

    Skype for Business and other tools offered the ability to learn words which weren't in the standard dictionary. MS Temas doesn't offer that option. It would be even better if MS Teams could use the same personal dictionary as Office so that I don't have to add words (like people's names) multiple times.

  14. Cannot reorder Teams if there are more than monitor window height. Cannot reorder Teams at all except with mouse (accessibility violation)

    If you have more Teams than will fit vertically in the available space in your monitor/window, you will not be able to drag any above a certain point, making it possible to reorder them. The pane does not scroll up, even when the mouse approaches/surpasses the edge.

    Also, AFAIK, using the mouse is the only way to reorder Teams. For people who cannot use a mouse, there is no solution.

    At a minimum, please offer these (hopefully low-hanging) solutions:

    1. Right-click a Teams menu and choose "Move Up / Move Down"

    2. Somewhere in Teams, offer an option: "Order Teams Alphabetically". A…

  15. minimize drop-down arrows won't stay minimized upon returning to tab

    In Chat, I have several groups created with multiple people under each. Every time I need to minimize EACH tab because the lists are so long and I can't easily find who I'm looking quickly. However, if I should need to go to another tab within Teams, everything has gone back to the original extended layout and I'm back at square one. Can we get the minimize drop down arrows to stick please?!

  17. Have the Links Contained in Emails Open the Teams Application Directly

    When clicking the "Reply in Teams" button located inside the emails that result from mentions, it currently pulls up the browser. Then there's a wait until the browser window pulls up the conversation inside Teams application. This is inefficient for the user and their breaks work flow.

    It would be helpful if click in the email link brought the user directly into the Teams application.

  18. RSS Connector name and Favicon added to title of post

    We have various suppliers RSS feeds going into a Channel for operations \ technical teams to be aware of outages of platforms. However, unlike webhooks these all get posted into the Channel with a title of RSS.

    It would be more useful if the name of the RSS feed, which you've got to add "Enter a name for your RSS connection." when you configure it would be used instead.

    It would also be great if for a Webhook or RSS feed, it pulled and used the websites Favicon.
