  1. Keyboard shortcuts

Hi, Can't you offer keyboard shortcuts to get to different tabs (activity, chat, teams, meetings, files)? This will make our life much easier.

    Thanks.

we have this!  ·  Warren responded

Teams does have some shortcuts you may use.

To see the shortcut list you can click on your user icon within Teams.
From the drop down list go to Keyboard Shortcuts.
A second window will open showing you the available shortcuts that Teams has to offer at this time.

    Keep posting feedback.

  3. Higher contrast font colors, more font size choices

Have the font color selection include fonts with better contrast levels from the background. On the standard white background (don't know about others as my company has disabled themes), colors other than black are extremely hard to read.

As other users have noted, please add more font size choices, particularly for Wiki page titles. They are barely distinguishable from subheadings.

  6. Improve Microsoft Teams accessibility

Microsoft Teams is not as accessible for blind persons, as it is necessary for them to work with it independently. When using a screenreader, it is very difficult for a blind user to get to the material (s)he wishes to find. This is the result of a test in the downloaded app version, in Google Chrome and Internet Explorer: In all cases, it is very difficult to navigate well and e.g. get all documents (and screenreading softrware Virtual Jaws doesn’t improve the situation). It is important to explore how to improve this, as Microsoft Teams is getting more and more…

  7. Make the window border more distinctive from the application behind it

The Teams window fades in colour to the bottom right which is where the corner resize handle is.
The colour at this corner of the app is often the same colour as apps in the background which makes it hard to find/grab the resize handle.

  8. Make the vertical scroll bar bigger and more visible

The vertical scroll bar is very thin and not easy to see or click on. Make it more like a regular Windows slider that is permanently visible.

  9. Export complete Chat conversations

Right now if we want to save the conversation of a Chat we do so by individually selecting them one by one.

It will be helpful if we can do that by right clicking a chat window and export/save is gets enabled.

  11. Make it more clear when chatting in a group change vs. private chat

Please make it more clear you are in a group chat. There have been several times a user will say something in group chat and think they are in a private chat. A different color background and/or color font and/or icon to indicate a group chat.

  12. be able to create shortcuts that link to your most used files and folders within teams.

be able to create shortcuts to files and folders within teams.
the shortcut be able to link to a folder in a different team, you would only see this as long as you are a member of that team.

  13. searching

The ability to search any types of WIKI within teams. if there is just clear text, please provide a type of search for that within groups. I can search files and other items just fine, but not clear text within groups, or Wiki's. This makes it very hard to find material.

  16. Slash commands should be available in the same place we type messages.

As a power user, I wish to be able to enter slash commands in the same control where I type messages, because the inability to do so goes against more than 30 years of precedent for chat applications. Having to enter them elsewhere is counter intuitive and frustrating.

From an accessibility point of view it makes no sense to force the user to navigate to another control where they still need to type the slash.

IRC has had slash commands for more than 30 years. Slack, Mattermost, Zoom... all have slash commands integrated in the text entry control too.

    Integrating…

  17. Please make Teams multi-window

From the company which invented Windows... a single-window productivity application. Really?
As multi-tasking is the accepted way of operating now, why does it need to take so long for me to switch from one task in Teams to another and back again? Please fix.

  18. Please add the functionality to "Paste Special"

When working on Teams, and also in Office 365, you can't "Paste special". This is super annoying, and is stopping a lot my colleagues from using teams. Which defeats the purpose of us paying for it.

  19. Easier Navigation

If you click on a teams, you should land directly on the first channel.
There should be a breadcrumb navigation for the channels in the teams, which can be optionally displayed between teams name and tabs.
