  1. Keyboard Shortcuts should be moved to the Help tab

In nearly every piece of software I've used, if the software supports a keyboard shortcuts list, it is accessed within the Help tab. It seems quite strange to place the keyboard shortcuts list within the user icon, where I would expect only to find user-specific information. The only way I can rationalize this decision is if there are user-specific keyboard shortcuts that be created.

  2. Commands via keyboard/typing only

More/all actions should be available via keyboard/typing., One that kills me is the ability to create code snippets WITH syntax highlighting. I can create a snippet by typing ``` at the very beginning of a response, which is nice, but I can't get syntax highlighting from it. We need more energy put into pure keyboard based usage of Teams.

  3. Remove the 'Open in SharePoint' button

This button should be removed and access to SharePoint only limited to admin roles via SharePoint/Teams Admin portal. For new users, it is too confusing.

  7. Disconnect formats from language and shortcuts from keyboard.

    Hi!
It's actually a general Microsoft issue. In many applications on several plattforms you tie setting together that are not dependent on each other. It is well illustrated by the Language section in Teams Settings/General on Mac OS X.

First, it says "App language determines the date and time format" which causes troubles for me, my colleagues and many people working in a country where English is not the first language but it is the language we use at work, at least in written form. Even though we communicate in English we don't want to use Imperial units or American…

  9. Add a contact to this group-----auto set cursor to the search box

When clicking on "Add a contact to this group".....have the cursor automatically focus on the box so that you can start typing a person's name....now you have to click into the box and then type. Come on MS.....you do some UI testing right???????

  10. Been able to resize a share screen while in remote control

While in remote control over share screen, went into full screen.
Then closed the chat tab on the right
After that, I was unable to quit de full screen mode without giving up on the share screen.

Would be nice to be able to go back to "normal view".
Someting like move mouse to the top and have a banner with option.

  11. Include <Ctrl>+<E> on /keys list

From the /keys list, people can see what keyboard shortcuts are available via the Search/command bar at the top.

They can't, however, see the shortcut for accessing the Search/command bar with just the keyboard - that shortcut is <Ctrl>+<E>.

It'd be nice to include this, then people who type /keys could see that they can get back to /keys using only the keyboard any time they want!

  14. Modify list of functions/apps

In Teams, the default list of "apps" on the left side are:
    Activity
    Shifts
    Chat
    Teams
    Calendar
    Calls
    Files
    Planner
    ...

We should be able to modify this list, to "hide" features not in use.
especially the "Shifts" function, that takes "ages" to load basic/frontpage and is a full PITA when you've managed to click on it when intending to go to "Activity" or "Chat".

We should also be able to, within the "Chat" function, to "group" contacts, by using "drag and drop" to a created contact-group.

  15. Added website navigation menu back and forward

When website is added to channel as card, there is no possibility to navigate back on website. It is feedback from many users that this functionality would be appriciate.

  16. Honour the "do not smooth fonts" setting

Due to eye problems, I have to work with "smooth screen fonts" switched off. That means no ClearType or font aliasing of any kind. Unfortunately Teams doesn't honour this setting, so at present it is almost unusable for me without causing immediate physical pain. Please honour this setting. Not everybody has 20/20 vision.

  17. Contacts panel no longer auto hides

Before the last update, the Contacts panel on the left with the Recent chats list no longer auto-hides.

This is eating up a lot of screen space that could be used in the Conversation panel.

  18. Display YouTube video title and description when sharing a link

When sharing a YouTube link, it does not pick the title and the description from the link. Instead, it shows the YouTube description.

  19. For Teams chat history, it would be helpful to have group chats color coded or highlighted to make it more obvious those are not 1:1 chats.

  20. I would really love a keyboard shortcut to hide chats.

I would like a keyboard shortcut to hide chats. Similarly to how skype would close a chat window when hitting escape. This would be very handy for a management team. Example: You are discussing an employee issue with a superior and that employee comes up behind your desk while you are in mid type.
