  1. BOTs Automate Scripting for all Microsoft Modules

Create a BOT for admins that has all the MS modules loaded; type in English to “Admin” BOT what you want to do.

Admin Bot creates your script, you can modify and use under your creds.

Example: Grab all German users in German Team, give them this DLP policy; and this Teams Messaging policy. Would save a T O N of time. Makes us all PowerShell champions. More automation, more productivity, more efficiency, more security.

  3. Where did T-bot go?

I liked the T-bot. Where did it go? I cannot find it in Teams any longer.

  4. Make a bot to track gold stars given to team members.

Simple bot to give meaningless gold stars to millennial employees like myself who derive value from just such empty gestures.

    Example would be

Manager: "Star bot give @mikey 3 gold stars"
Bot: "Way to go! 3 gold stars given to @mikey"

Manager: "5 Gold stars to @Hufflepuff"
Bot: "Finally some recognition for my buds in @Hufflepuff"

  5. Support adaptive cards on mobile consistently

When using adaptive cards for teams, our images are scaled to stretch, even though we want to use auto. Also, the Action.Submit to delete message through bot framework does not work to delete the message on mobile, but works fine on desktop. Overall, mobile experience is not consistent.

  8. Who bot in default apps?

Who bot is available in the external apps.
Since it is supposed to be a Microsoft Corp app, it should not be stored with 3rd party apps.
We do not want to activate external apps for Microsoft new released features.

  9. Allow my bot to edit his messages.

My bot uses the headstone of the conversation to display contextual information. Over time, this context changes and I would like to ability for my bot to update the message. I'm not seeing anything for Graph/Bot Connector that allows me to change an existing message.

  10. Allow bots to have more control over messages they see

I'de like to create a super simple karma bot (none exist, that aren't paid) but the way the API works at the moment is that in order for a bot to even see/process a message, you are REQUIRED to mention the bot in the message. This is very annoying as most people are used to the "give karma" syntax being along the lines of: "@user++ [reason]" so, with the way the teams api works, they now have to cahnge it to "@<yourkarmabotname> @user ++ [reason]" this just feels unnatural.

We were previously using HipChat with a very simple karma bot…

  11. Keep T-Bot's 'What's new' up to date

T-Bot's 'What's New' feature is useful as we're determining whether to use Teams or not. But it's out of date already - I know there have been releases but the last entry is still July 31 2018.

  13. cross platform bots integration feasibility

Can we register cross-platform BOTs (Ex. Developed in Python) with Microsoft Teams? We are looking for a feasibility to add our in-house BOT to Teams so that there will be a one-stop for communicating with friends or with BOTS.

    Tenant account can chat Bot,
But Guest account can NOT do it.

  18. Who Bot is MIA - heard it was supposed to be in the store but does not appear

I went to a webinar today and heard about the Who Bot from Jeremy Thake. Understood that if I have an updated Teams Desktop App, I should see the bot in the Store. I checked for updates and got "You have got Microsoft Teams latest updates. Enjoy!" but no sign of the Who Bot in the store.

  19. WHO bot: add 'who has this email address' and other questions

I love the /who command. Love it. Thanks! I'd love to ask it some more questions.

    - who has the address sales@domain.com? A common question IT dept gets asked a lot.
    - whose phone number ends in 324? Not so common but could be useful.

  20. Disable Clippy the Bot completely (T-Bot)--and others while we're at it

While in theory I can see use cases for bots, in practice they just annoy the **** out of me. The more **** that gives me useless notifications and clutters up chat that I can't completely disable or turn off, the less likely I am to use a product.

Seriously, this **** lowers my productivity. Is that what you want with a productivity app? I certainly don't want it.
