  1. Better support for working across companies.

I am a one man company. I work with many other companies for a client. We all have different email addresses. Many tools like the whiteboard don't like to work this way. Even messaging doesn't work well across company borders.

  2. Add support for sharing with Microsoft To-Do

Having all MS applications; Office 365, I expect them to share data easily between them.

Today if I use the Microsoft To-Do application and choose Share, Microsoft Teams is not a support application. Granted I can copy & paste, but integration between the two apps is expected.

  3. Just play nice with other MS products

For me is amazing how a product developed by Microsoft itself doesn't play nice with basic other product like Office. Shared images can't be copied and paste in PPT. This is just sad.
Also, it is very sad that every time Teams lost focus and I active the window again, I have to click in the text area to type again in the chat I just left. How you develop this? How your QA team doesn't detect such a basic misbehavior?

  4. Teams to be interoperable with standard video or work as S4B!

There is a whole world out there that needs to communicate!
To make Teams your new, and only, way to do video, NOT being able to connect to Standard based solutions, or for videoservices, no matter brand, coexist with your solutions, the way you made it possible with S4B. Without an open communication, your solution should be sent back to the 19th Century! It is simply wrong thinking! Sorry, but this is the truth!
    A very, very unhappy customer!!!

  5. Incident information should be posted in the Service health when the incident occurs in Teams

When Teams related incidents would occur, the information could sometimes not be shown in the affected tenants’ Service health.
I would strongly request that the incidents’ information should be always posted for the affected tenants’ Service health 100% in future.

  7. Having the ability to 'pop out' a thread much like conversations are popped out in Skype would be ideal for our team. Is this a possibility?

Our team currently uses a daily chat in Skype for communication. We are also piloting Teams. There is some reluctance to use teams for daily chat because it can get congested. Having the ability to 'pop out' a thread so that it is separated from all of the others would be ideal.

  8. Teams Only cannot initiate chat to Skype users on Islands mode

When a user is in Teams Only mode, they cannot send a chat to a user who is on Skype. The only way a Skype user can chat with a Teams user is if the Skype user initiates the chat from their end to the Teams user.

  9. Respond to Azure DevOps comments in line in linked work item cards

We use Azure DevOps extremely heavily and are already impressed with the level of integration with AzDo (that's what we call it for a short name? Maybe need something new from VSTS)

Anyway, a request from my management is that since you can receive comment cards or work item cards in a conversation in Teams, it would be nice to be able to comment a response to that work item from within Teams itself!

  10. Enable to delete optional Notebook suggestions from the list when adding a new OneNote tab in Microsoft Teams

When I add a new OneNote tab on Teams, choices for OneNote Notebooks will be shown including the Notebook which is already added to the Teams tab.
I would like to delete optional choices from the list. Even if the OneNote data itself was deleted from the SPO site, the deleted Notebook still be shown in the list.

  11. Powerbi

The integration with Power BI is a little clunky.
Adding an embedded PBI Report to a team does not get the members of that team permissions to view the content.
Instead, even without Pro licences and when using premium capacities, users need to be manually added to the corresponding report workspace.

Could there be a way of assuming view only membership for anyone that is a member of the relevant team instead?

  12. for one-person companies useless

I am a business consultant = one person company working with different customers. Teams is useless as long as I cannot form teams outside of my organization.
And Skype4B (the reason why I bought this license) does not connect to my Office365Exchange => cannot setup meetings with customers in advance.

  13. Copypasting text

I need to be able to copy-paste text easily from the chat box to MS Word, MS Outlook, Notepad or other/non-Microsoft applications without extraneous text, ex. message sender.

  14. Teams in Outlook Customer Manager integrieren

Teams should be able to provide a "Tab" for Outlook Customer Manager (OCM) in a similar way to the "Planner" tab.

This would be a key capability for the running of sales teams. In business the customer contact is the centre point and this a massive oversight to have missed this! Yes you have a Dynamics365 connector but Teams needs to spans a lot more than this!

Team discussions about customers should also show on the OCM feeds within outlook.

Teams, Planner and Outlook Customer Manager are all from the same era and targeting small to medium businesses. We need…

  15. Create a better, portable and resettable caching system

The Teams caching system as it currently is (January 2019) is totally untransparant, unmaintainable, unportable and slow.

    - Local (Client) caches are spread all over the device. This guy even created a powershell script to clean it: https://blog.valeconsulting.co.uk/2018/09/28/clear-the-microsoft-teams-client-cache/ and these caches as they are, are not portable or configurable at all (they reside in the users profile) eliminating any offloading in VDI infrastructures
    - Web caches are even more terrible, it can take up to 3 days before a simple logo change is visible, let alone core Governance policy changes that can take forever to get applied, in the meanwhile…

  16. Conversation Threads and linking with sharepoint

Hi Microsoft Team, We are executing entire project using Microsoft Teams as a medium. we identified two problems majorly

    1. when we start a new message (Thread) and we may get number of replies say 80 replies for one single message. The latest message should come first as like outlook. but here we need to scroll all the replies to see the required message.

    2. Even though SharePoint and Microsoft teams are Microsoft Packages we don't have option to link Microsoft Teams to SharePoint. If we will get this potion this would be a great option for the teams to…

  17. AI integration with Outlook

Allow Outlook users to add a Teams connector. Through the connection, Outllook can make some suggestion that certain Outlook conversation should be published into certain Teams Channel. If users approve it, system can automatically beautify the content and publish it to Teams Channel for better knowledgebasing.

  18. change presence commentary

Really happy with the direction Teams is heading - Just need to know if there is a mechanism to change presence commentary (as was the case in SfB)

  19. Get a better feedback tool.

Tool doesn't work well on Android. Not much better anywhere else. Sort like Teams.

  20. devops

Serious issue: with Azure DevOps Build agent version. See attached, this is pretty serious in terms of providing a SaaS version of Team System, that is fundamentally not able to create up-to-date containers, targeted at the windows (current) platform, with default build agents. They are out-of-date, and need to be synchronized with the Windows O.S. Level (current).
