  1. Please extend the Teams Mobile App to work with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay

I'm often on the road and my company relies heavily on online meetings :-) So, we are starting to leverage Teams meetings more and more, so when I'm in my car I need an easy way to join meetings and maybe also read messages. While this is way easier now, than it was in SfB Mobile (thanks!) it would be awesome to have an Android Auto / Apple CarPlay Extension to have a somewhat easier and "nearly hands-free" user experience. This would make me much more productive, even if I'm traveling :-)

  2. Enable editing of Wiki pages in the Teams Mobile App

Currently Wiki pages are read only in the Mobile App. Please make them read/write so we can make a quick change to a Wiki page while on the go. Thanks :-)

Great, news… this item is now actively being worked upon! I just want to clarify that the multiple accounts is moving along for mobile.
(Desktop will have a separate timeline and will come later.)

I will share more details as we get closer to the release of this great feature request. :)

  4. Option to disable voice calls on mobile app

Now that we have moved voice from Skype for Business to Teams, and since I am part of a response group; I need a way how to disable voice calls on the mobile app. When I receive call to the response group, my mobile phone also rings. If I ma using my computer there is no need for my mobile phone to ring.
We use Teams mobile to always be in the loop regarding company matters, It would be nice to have a feature to disable all incoming calls on the mobile app.

  5. Share live location

I really like the location feature in 2016 Business Skype. It know when I move between my two facilities at work and it also remembers my home location. This should be a feature in Microsoft Teams.

  6. Support for Landscape mode in iOS/Android app

Landscape support for iOS would be a real differentiation point to Slack. Slack lacks support for years now. Users of plus size devices would love to read and type to a channel. If you use a Plus size device in landscape and switch to Teams it is quiet annoying that the orientation switches to Portrait as well.

  7. Mobile App - additional search functionality

Updating this topic to reflect that the focus is now on the additional search functionality since the other pieces of the original request have been completed.

Here is the originally summary below:
Items 2, 3, 4, and 5 have been completed and released.

    Android/mobile app:
    1) universal search function for files, messages, chats, and groups
    2) directly send invite to join teams, instead of chat only option
    3) ability to create new team, project, or group
    4) view calendar/schedule inside app

  9. Driving Audio Mode

The Teams mobile client needs a Driving Audio Mode. In this mode, the screen sharing and video goes off. The audio controls stay on screen and the mute button is nice and large and easy to hit. With it currently, when I'm driving, I often have to go on and off mute and so I'm having to tap the screen to get the controls to show up, then tap in a very small spot quickly before the controls disappear. This makes me take my concentration off the road too much.

  10. Battery life on iOS & Android

According to iOS Battery report, Teams is responsible for 24% of my battery usage. I am not actively running or using the program, so I assume this is related to background tasks / notifications.

  11. customize mobile notifications

Ability to customize and differentiate mobile notifications from desktop notifications.

For instance, only receive mobile notifications for chat and mentions while receiving notifications for followed groups, mentions, chats, channel tags, etc. on desktop.

  13. Ability to Add tabs in the Teams Mobile App

Currently the ability to add tabs to MS Teams via mobile devices or iPad is not available. this makes owners go to the desktop version setup the tab and then work in mobile device.

would be good if we get an option to add tabs in mobile devices.

  14. Persistent Login/Notifications on Mobile

I have a bunch of users that leverage Slack and Google Hangouts for group collaboration and I would like to present them with Teams as an alternative, but I have a major issue that is keeping me from suggesting it:

The mobile app is too inconsistent for making sure that users will see messages. There have been many time when our IT test group will think they are good, but someone will call them and ask why they are ignoring Teams. When you pull up the app, you get the login screen instead of your conversations, only to sign in…

  15. URL Scheme

URL Scheme for iOS and Android app - forexample ms-teams://user@organization.com will launch Teams and goto chat screen of the "user". URL Scheme can be extended to various features of the MS Teams app. This will help customize Employee App all organization have. Enabling Office 365 directly integrating to these app. Currently, I am using ms-outlook:// to integrate Email feature in the app I am working.

  18. External Keyboard Support on iOS

Better app logic when Bluetooth/External keyboard is connected.

    1. Better use of screen real estate.
    2. Logical keyboard shortcuts (chat apps typically use "Enter" to send messages, not "Shift+Cmd+D", even though that is what the Apple Mail App uses, it is not consistent with Messages, Slack, etc.
    3. Support for formatting (italics, bold, underline, etc.)

  19. Enable forwarding of messages to text/SMS

For people who don't want the mobile app, but still would like mobile notifications, is there any way to set up Teams to forward messages to SMS by changing a status or another factor?
