So many clunky bits...
On some levels it's a great app, on others, it's so clunky that it's like looking at something that's in Beta development.
- In the calls section, when you click on the three dots to add a contact to an existing group you get an additional pop-up window (Add to contacts). However the cursor at this stage is not automatically activated in the 'Type a name' box so you have to click on this before you start to type.
When you have contacts in a group they appear as, Photo, Name, Job Title, Connection Status and then two icons for phone, video and a drop down menu. The whole thing is very badly designed and takes up whale like quantities of screen space. There needs to be an option for a more compact view. (without the photo for example which is blingy but necessary sometimes).
There's no proper preferences menu and thus no way to change things like font size and so on.
The keyboard shortcut < command + . > to bring up the keyboard shortcuts doesn't work on the Mac.
If you shrink the resolution < Zoom setting > to it's minimum (70%) then you end up with a two to a line view of your team contacts (because the window has a fixed minimum width) If you then zoom in to try to force the contacts into a one to a line view, rather than do this the app hides the call option list on the left hand side of the window. WTF?!
On the drop down menu the appears under your name < Settings > are language options for the app language you can pick 16 different kinds of English (I'm slightly curious as to what difference this actually makes, does Australian English open up with a 'G'Day' or something? The mind boggles!). However for the keyboard language there is only one English language option, 'English (United States)'. Again, WTAF? I'm assuming that (because the spell check button is immediately below) this has implications for spelling and since I'm British I'm quite happy with how we spell here thank you very much. I have no wish to spell things wrongly to fit in with the bastardisation of the language by the United States.
