Prepare meeting breakout rooms
As a creator of a meeting I want to prepare my breakout rooms before the meeting gets started. So i already assigned people to rooms before the meeting is going to start.
When the meeting is in progress i Only need to open the rooms.
Next to that you want to send documents directly from the main room to the breakout rooms
Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to announce that capability for the meeting organizer to perform breakout room configurations and participant assignments prior to the start of the meeting is now available to users who have opted into Public Preview.

Yes please! We are currently doing Literature Circles and it is killing me to have to re create the same breakout rooms, for each class, every day!

would be very usefull!
The use of breakout rooms is really good. It would be an ideal feature to be able to assign participants to breakout room sin advance of the meeting, rather than when the meeting has started.
Allow user to create breakout rooms in advance.

This capability would be so much more efficient!
Setting up for a workshop is a detailed process and one NEEDS to be able to set up their room the way they need to - having to do this on the fly when you're facilitating is a waste of time for participants and stressful for the facilitator. This must be an enhancement to focus on thank you

Ability to assign people to breakout rooms based on invite list and not have to wait until the meeting is in session to due so. Not all want to assign rooms automatically and if you have a large list of attendees, being able to create the rooms and assign participants based off of attendee list prior to the start of the meeting would be highly beneficial.
Setting up multiple rounds of breakouts ahead of the meeting would be helpful... and setting them up prior to the meeting based upon the attendees not just whose actively participating in the meeting real time is needed. Its also inconvenient to lose the breakouts setup if you dial out and back into a meeting. Its incredibly difficult to administratively setup break outs while in the meeting. Can you delegate to other (more than 1 owners) to be able to help set them up?
Yes, we need to be able to prepare breakout rooms prior. We would do not be able to set them up once we are in session.
The intention is that we would use them for hearings and when we need to adjourn, we would explain to each party that we will place them in a breakout room and bring them back when we are ready to continue.

Yes please, this would constitute a major upgrade for MS Teams
This would be really nice in order to operate meetings more smoothly!
Also, that when you are called back to a main meeting - that the moderator could WARN ABOUT ENDING BREAKOUT a few minutes in advance.

It would be great to be able to prepare the break out rooms before te meeting.
A major flaw in the new breakout rooms feature is the inability to create groups for the rooms before the meeting starts. I realize I can create channels, but there is a limit on the number of those that can be open at any one time. I'd like my students to be in small groups that I can arrange before our class meets so I can assign group leaders, change group members each week, etc.
So stressful with synchronous learning trying to set this up during class time and balance the groups.

It would also be helpful if facilitators could enter breakout rooms early to set up files, Forms, and Whiteboard.
This feature would be very useful!
Essential feature for large groups with numerous breakout sessions!
