multiple admins for breakout rooms
in situations where more than 1 person is managing/admining a meeting the meeting organizer should be able to "promote" participants to meeting admin to manage Breakout Rooms
Thank you for your feedback! We are happy to announce that capability to allow specific presenters to manage breakout rooms is now available to users who have opted into Public Preview.
To see feature details, please visit https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams-public-preview/now-in-public-preview-presenter-support-in-breakout-rooms/m-p/2774821.

We look forward to your preview feedback!
Definitely needed to be able to have two different people administer a large team going in and out of breakout rooms.

we recently had similar issue, our organizer started the meeting and left early. We needed a cohost who could record part of the session. unfortunately this incidents restricts us from moving users from zoom to teams.

Please deliver this soon because it's a great feature that is being undermined by the limitation of the organiser only being able to manage breakouts. Where the meeting is organised by a central function that does not attend the meeting, it's impossible to use breakouts.
The same way in which you can predetermine presenting rights in advance it should be possible to set up 'breakout room management rights'. In a higher education teaching environment it is the norm that admin staff schedule the multiple lectures and seminars (as Teams meetings) on behalf of the academics, granting them presenting rights in advance so they can run the session. It is nonsensical that they can't manage the breakout rooms themselves and need to ask the admin person to come in and out of the meeting every time they need to use this functionality. Good luck if the admin person set up more than one meeting for the same slot of time, which again is completely normal in teaching. MS Teams continues to play catch up to Zoom and falling short, quite disappointing.

This is really important for our users :)
This is a must have for many organisations
And a deal breaker when moving from Zoom
Thanks for solving this - this is a must-have!
PLEASE...... !!!! Add the multiple organizers as in Zoom. Our clients want us to work with Teams but it is aweful that only the one organizer can manage the breakouts. Why??? Please solve this and rescue me from this misery.
Echoing recent posts below, this is a must for our organisation too. We need multiple hosts to be able to move between multiple breakout rooms to observe and support.
Alex - thanks for the info that it's under review. It's been a month since your post. Can you please give us an update now about what stage of the review process this is at? Thank you.

We teach a course where it is vital that that multiple instructors go into multiple breakout rooms to provide direction and support to the participants. We also need to have multiple people control the breakout room participants and details. Please make these options available to several people in the Teams meeting instead of just 1 organizer. Thank you!
Mad and inefficient that this functionality is not already present. Please address ASAP.

This feature would improve Teams massively. Right now we can't have agents moving between rooms to give support.

A much needed function in order to enable smoother operation of sub groups with support agents moving between said groups.
This is basically a requirement for us to be able to utilize breakout rooms in our company meetings. Since they are broken up into segments, the person who actually creates the meeting only attends one of the four that take place every two weeks. Our CEO leads the meeting, but has no ability to start break out groups, so we have to have our employees manually create individual meetings each time we do this.
It's not uncommon to have a secretary or ops person schedule these kind of company all hands meetings while the ceo leads them, so I'm not sure why this need doesn't seem to be clearly recognized.

It’s a must have ! Without it we are under pressure to move to zoom
This is a must! Impossible to give online trainings without
This so needs to be a function. I set up meetings for numerous people that I do not attend and it's causing issues for them and me
This needs to include hosts that are external to the organisation. It needs to be something that can easily be transferred prior to the meeting as a number of sessions i attend are set up from box accounts or by PA's who do not attend the meeting.
This is a absolut need with Multiple Meeting Organisers and posible to move people from one breakout room to another.
If not solved, we have to find other methods for interacting with our students and partnes
