Teams pop-up notifications no longer display on top of (fullscreen) applications
Since a recent change in Teams notifications no longer display on top when working in fullscreen mode. Most collegues work with a Remote Desktop client. Teams they run in the background on their local machine.
When you would receive a message or a call Teams would pop-up a notification on top of the RD-client. Since a recent update this no longer happens. You have to minimize te RD-client and other applications that run on your local machine, because they all show on top of the Notification.
I think this is caused by an update where Teams notifications now are using the built in Windows 10 notifications framework. I can't find any setting to make notifications show on top when working in fullscreen mode.
Thank you for your patience. We are happy to share that this issue has been fixed with Windows desktop version 1.4.00.7174 and above.

I am experiencing the same issue and have missed calls and messages as a result. Please fix.

My entire team is missing messages so often we are considering switching back to using Skype for Business instead of Teams until this is fixed. This problem makes the most important feature of Teams unusable for us! Even when I have an incoming Teams CALL, it appears behind any other windows occupying the bottom right corner of my primary display - taking me a while to find the Teams call to answer it. Very frustrating!

Users are missing important messages/notifications from Teams when working in a remote session.
This was working prior to an update that occurred in late November.

This was working correctly in summer 2020, and showing notifications above remote desktop connection. But after an update it broke.
It's really annoying because too many people nowadays are working from home.
We have also noticed this happening and our users are very annoyed by it and often miss calls or do not have time to answer them
Notification For calls coming on Teams application while using remote server , pops up in the back, need it to pop up in the front like before last Teams update.
When I am using a Full Screen App such as a remote desktop connection, I cannot receive notifications for teams, whether they be calls or messages.
This seems to be an issue with the way that notifications are dealt with in Teams rather than using the Windows 10 Notification option.
Currently we have tones of staff using RDP for office machines but running teams on their personal machine and its causing headaches with calls being missed.
Seems a bit of an oversight...
