Block the Teams Echo bot from joining a meeting
The Teams Echo bot (meant for testing one's microphone) can be invited to a meeting via the "partipants" tab. No reasonable person would do this since it is extremely disruptive to the meeting, however, unruly students (i.e., class clowns) find this amusing.
Unfortunately, there is currently no way to block, mute, or remove this participant -- we have to listen to it go through it's full script before it departs.
Ideally this bot would not be able to join meetings (especially those with multiple participants in them). However, an explicit ability to block/mute/boot the bot would be appreciated as well.

We too (UK Schools) are seeing this as a growing trend, that students in Teams meetings / lessons - correctly permissioned / setup, and as attendees, can invite the Teams Echo bot / account / participant into the meeting. I suspect this has always been the case, but children share this information on social media etc. and the challenge affects all educators...
I would suggest disabling this functionality for all Teams Classrooms, whilst maintaing for other types of Teams, allowing delineation between Corporate and Education users.
This is becoming an increasing disturbance as kids like to show these little features off to others. Updates on the progress of Echo removal would be much appreciated.
Our district has the rules and roles set so that students can't invite others into a meeting YET they can invite the Echo Bot in...AS luck would have it (Sarcasm) they Echo bot is ALSO allowed past the lobby so the meeting organizer can't prevent the bot from entering and re-entering! What Fun!!!
@2343518824-edward-kaiser, I wonder if ensuring you set the appropriate roles for participants so they are 'attendees' and not 'presenters' would resolve your issue?
Teams meeting attendees do not have the "Invite other participants" capability.

1) Teams Echo disturbing the classes.
2)Soundspot sending messages to chat box .Message will starts coming as soon as the class starts , after that the MSTeams will start hanging so teachers can’t take classes properly.
