Bug with Teams Window Sharing during call or meeting
Fix Teams window sharing - Window list not updating during call
On Teams client for Windows 1.3.00.28779 as well as 1.3.00.26064 that I've been able to test, when I'm already on a call and click the share content button, I am presented with a list of thumbnails of "Desktop" screens to share as well as Windows. The list of Windows is a list of windows that were open at the time the call started, and it does not update if I open new windows or close ones that were open. It continues to list windows that were previously closed, and never seems to update to allow me to share a new document that I've opened.
If I click on one of the "ghost" windows that I have already closed but still show on the list, nothing happens. If I click on one of the windows that is still open, it shares it fine.
Clicking "Hide share options" and then clicking the share content button again does not refresh the list, it continues to be outdated. The only thing that refreshes the list is to close the meeting / call and start a new call.
I have reproduced this issue on multiple installations on different hardware with different user accounts.

Thought we were going insane; definitely some kind of regression in the New Meeting Experience that affects even the most recent version (we are running 1.3.00.30874).
Alas we need the Spotlight feature from the New Meeting Experience so I guess we will just have people sharing an entire screens instead of specific apps until this is sorted. Nuts.
EDIT: I think I was wrong that Spotlighting is only available in New Meeting Experience, so semi-yay! https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/spotlight-someone-s-video-in-a-teams-meeting-58be74a4-efac-4e89-a212-8d198182081e

This is a ridiculous situation. Why take away feature functionality?
During my calls I need to go in and out of several documents. I am having to go out and come back in of my own meetings. It looks like I don’t know how to use the software!! Not professional. Please fix!!

Have the same issue when "Turn on new meeting experience" is checked.
If you turn it off, you will be able to share files you opened while in a call.
I hope MS add this feature on the new meeting experience option.

Same here with Windows 10 and the 1.3.00.30866 (64 bits) Teams version.
=> Workarounds seem to be to use the browser version or disable the new meeting experience parameter -

It is also a problem with the Teams client for Windows version 1.3.30866.

We have exactly the same Problem. The Office365 Support does only ask stupid questions :)
