Enable video pop-out for non-presenters
As a non-presenting participant in a Teams meeting I want to be able to see both shared content and the video feed of other members simultaneously. I need to be able to view and control (e.g. move and resize) both the shared content and video feeds separate from each other.
Currently as a participant in a Teams meeting I cannot pop-out the video feeds as a separate window viewable at the same time as the shared content window. Only the presenter can get the participant video feeds in a separate pop-out window from the shared content.
As a non-presenting participant having the video feed only viewable as a small ribbon at the bottom of the shared content window or having to toggle between tabs to view either the shared content or video feeds is frustrating. I want to be able to see the faces of my teammates and follow along with the displayed content.
This functionality exists in other meeting software like WebEx and Zoom.

Agree this is a must have feature. This will allow facilitators to track/manage participant engagement.

Agree, this is a feature I miss from Skype (and I really don't miss much about Skype). I have multiple monitors (as do most people I know), and having to choose between viewing the presentation or the video feed of attendees is annoying (the little bar with video at the bottom doesn't count as a "view" in my opinion).
Just being able to pop-out the video pane into another window would fix all this for me.

Think this item might be covered here: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31661131-video-screen-size-when-sharing-screen

I have two large screens, but with Teams one is empty and the other has a handful of teeny-tiny video boxes along the bottom while someone presents. This video is pointless because it's only a small number of participants and even those are too small to be useful. I cannot resize the space allocated to the video, so I cannot make good use of the space on a single screen
Instead I want to be able to have the video on one screen and the shared content on the second. Teams doesn't need to be aware of screens, just let me pop-out the video to a new window and I'll put it there. The video pop-out should give me the option of tiled (large gallery), active speaker plus tiled (as a split, draggable so I can decide how big to make the speaker versus the tiles), and just the active speaker.

Our company needs this functionality for multiple use cases. It is one of the top 5 functions that is preventing us from moving from Skype to Teams 100%.

Agree with jake below, Teams is way better tool but lacking on some basic collaboration options. Video, Chat and Attendees list pop-outs are super useful and basic for collaboration during a meeting.

Agreed! For me, I think this makes Teams a far inferior product to either Zoom or Webex.
