Poor performance on Windows
The system takes a lot of the computer resources and slows down the overall performance of the pc

Thank you for your feedback. Our performance team is working on improving the overall performance of the Windows client. We expect to see performance jumps in the latest version of Electron rolling out (Electron 10).

Teams may have their own folder in the share point and cannot see the other areas, this is pain point that is not well communicated

Stability is still an issue. For the same files, I can see it on OneDrive -Library, but TEAMS tells me “no files”.......Consistency between SharePoint and TEAMS have many problems

Another reason to turn me away from MS. Perhaps I am turning into a dinosaur but in the past i was able to decide what programmes opened on start up but now it seems impossible. I never asked for MS teams nor skype for business (at least not that I am aware of) but they are both there, right in my face everytime I start up.

I have a relatively new machine with Windows 10 and Teams and O365 in generally are very fast. Most of my cowrokers are on older, Windows 7 machines and theirs seem slow and they lack certain functionality.

Teams doesn't seem ready for prime time, as the performance is slow and it crashes often. This morning, while in an audio teams meeting, my app crashed three separate times when sharing my screen with others.
In prior uses, the app hangs when in a video call or when joining a meeting

Teams is extremly slow when:
- Changing between different chats
- Pasting in picture in a chat
- Pasting a picture then changing to another chat
- Having a meeting and trying to chat in the same time -

App logs me out regularly, and getting back in is a pain, messages don't get delivered, or are delayed, scrolling or searching is painfully slow, new message notification doesn't always clear after reading, and generally the user experience is just sub-par. I'm on a i7 surface book 2 15"

Even just switching between "Activity", "Chat", and "Teams" is too slow. It takes about a second after clicking to display the new tab for just text. This should be instant like switching tabs in a browser.

Given that Skype for Business and logon script are competing for CPU, Teams is another that adds to the burden...It's not clear to me when Teams searches for updates (at launch or during use)?

Over a year after and it is now clear that this will never be fixed.. What a bummer, could have been a great product..

It's taking around 10 seconds just to start ... then it's slow everywhere.

I agree, the slow performance of this app on a brand new, top-of-the-line computer is unacceptable. This app needs to focus on doing its primary job well before getting into a bunch of useless-to-most-of-us add-ons. This app should start like lightning and clicking around in it should be blazing fast, I should not have issues starting the app three minutes ahead of a meeting and having to stress about how long it takes to initialize and get into the meeting.
