SuccessFactors (SF) Learning Management System (LMS) Integration with MS Teams
Currently MS Skype for Business and SAP SuccessFactors Learning have an integration. With the decommission/replacement of Skype, the integration needs to be updated to now point to Teams.
As you can see in the attached, there are over 300 unique SAP customers seeking this enhancement
Key Words: Learning Management System, LMS, Training, Integration, SuccessFactors, SAP, SF
Would like the ability to draw attendance, time-on-task information from both Teams corporate and educational configurations and to establish sessions from the SF LMS side in Teams.
As others have mentioned, we urgently need the ability to use MS Teams as a way to manage VLS. Concerning business requirements for this integration, we need:
- Which users attended
- How many minutes each user attended (duration)
- All existing Skype integration features
I'm from the British council and because of the current COVID situation, every training has been moved to the virtual platform. keeping a record of 100-500 people as who attended and who not is like a nightmare.
can you please confirm if this configuration is to resale with SAP H1 2021 resale or will it take more time?

Our organisation is using Teams as the standard collaboration platform and would like SuccessFactors LMS integrated to make the scheduling and conducting of video training courses seamless

As a SuccessFactors Learning Consultant I get the request to integrate with Teams very often from 'my Learning customers', so there is a very urgent need to have this integration working.

This is very important for every SuccessFactors learning customer who also has Microsoft Teams as their global collaboration platform. We strongly support this.

This is long overdue. Please add this enhancement. You have competitors in the virtual conferencing market who will no doubt solve this eventually. We already use a variety of platforms to deliver virtual class sessions and will use whomever offers it first.

this integration is very important for every SuccessFactors LMS customer who also has Microsoft Teams or who need to decide which virtual platform to adopt by integrating it with the LMS SSF. We strongly support this integration request with SAP SSF

Hi - we definitely need integration with MS Teams especially during the Covid times. Thanks.
Hi, we urgently need the abilitiy to use MS Teams as a way to manage VLS.
As an SAP SuccessFactors customer, Teams integration is critical to us, and the API having access to the attendance is a must-have feature that will make the integration work seamlessly (like it does with WebEx right now).
Also we could need the possibility to use Teams in SF to manage virtual trainings.

We definitively have a huge need to have the MS TEAMS integrated into SAP SuccessFactors Learning and it would improve our processes of organizing virtual learning activities in the LMS massively.
We need the abilitiy to use Teams as a way to manage virtual trainings.

For us to fully transition away from WebEx, we need the ability to use Teams as a way to manage virtual instructor-led training through our LMS. This would be huge selling point for Teams.

This is a clarification of EXACTLY what is needed.
Acc. LMS Product management this is missing in MS Teams API:
every other VLS vendor that we currently integrate with supports the APIs needed for us to retrieve / calculate attendance. It’s not so much that they send us the actual percentage; what they send us is the information needed to calculate % attendance, such as the “total number of minutes attended"
Here’s what is missing from Teams: a means to communicate attendance to other systems after a meeting has ended, in the form of “this user attended 90% of the meeting, this other user only 70%”, etc., so that a learning system can determine whether the level of participation is sufficient to count as “completion”.
This is a critical need for our site. Our usage of this platform and MS365 overall, instead of something like FaceBook Workplace depends on this feature.
This is critical as our company is in the process of deciding if we should adopt Microsoft Audio Conferencing. Please consider working on this ASAP.
We are a luxury automotive manufacturer and required this integration to ensure the safety and critical compliance of our workforce through being able to offer virtual learning through MS Teams & SuccessFactors Learning
