Notification for tasks in Lists to assigned resource
Please insert functionality in Lists that sends a notification to a person whom was assigned a task (same as Planner).

Lists is USELESS without reminders/notifications. We need that in order to efficiently manage our tasks.

We are starting to integrate MS-Teams, need to assign tasks to a distributed Team where the members need to get an annoucemnt of an assign task is pretty much important.

Yes. This is very much needed. This is especially helpful when there are several people working off the list. You should be able to enable and disable notifications per list item and per list.

This option is in the new rules functionality in Lists. Rolling out to targeted tenant now.
When users are assigned to a task in lists it should automatically update the "TO DO" assigned to me tasks

Add an item to To-Do
Notification in the Teams channel
It really needs to be something that allows the assigned person to know what they've been tasked with and can keep a track of this.
For me this is critical. Having Lists of things is great, but there has to be automation behind the scenes, I've tried to use Power Automate but I can't get anything to work.
