Notifications on Mac should use the MacOS system notifications
I am sure this is not the first time that you hear about this request..

Honestly, this is getting so annoying I want to use a different product. When I get a Teams notification, inevitably, it's BEHIND my standard macOS notifications, making notifications in Teams absolutely useless. Make Teams a NATIVE macOS application.
It's been... idk 2 years since this was first raised... :/
Please! I NEED this!
I cannot fathom how much time the "Teams team" must have spent building its own silly notification boxes when it could have used the APIs supplied by Windows and Mac. Further, the implementation isn't even good & doesn't honour do-not-disturb on the system. It's unintuitive, hard to close and purple — so, so purple.

Ditto... no DND and notifications showing below other OS notifications makes a great feature harder to use.
At a minimum, allow the user to select a different location for the notification. On Windows, it is in the bottom right. Couldn't that location be an option while this gets sorted out?

100% agree here. Please use the OS-level notifications protocol. I have constant issues with MS Teams notifications overlapping other UI elements, not respecting "do not disturb" mode, and generally misbehaving.
