It doesn't make sense that admin have the right to disable recording function for the users during the meeting in teams, but they cannot have the right to delete the recording post, so that users can download the recording after the meeting.
We are not asking for a working back to online recording, but it makes sense if the recording can at least be deleted by meeting organizers, instead of staying in that chat history for 21 days and everyone including students can download it whenever they like.
The move away from Microsoft Stream has been disastrous for meeting recordings. We cannot find them (no, many people are finding they are NOT saved on their OneDrive or Sharepoint), have to dowload and re-upload them to share them with students, and cannot delete them.
With no option to delete, I will not be using the recording feature until they've sorted it out for privacy/security reasons if we are unable to delete.
I can't believe how Microsoft have managed to make a feature so much worse!

I'd like to options for streaming only, stream & download and hidden recording.
Streaming only allow students to watch the lesson at a later time whilst making it more difficult, though not impossible to copy / disseminate.
Steaming and downloading would allow students to work offline.
Hidden would give the education facility the ability to record videos for child safeguarding purposes.
I would like options to allow the admin's to make one of these options permanent and also to make an option the default but allowing team owners the ability to override. That way there is full flexibility with it.
