Why did Teams remove the full screen option during Screen Sharing and Meetings?!?
Why did Teams remove the full screen Option during Screen Sharing and Meetings? This was an option before and now it's been replaced by "Focus" which DOES NOT do the same thing. Now ever time someone share their screen with me, I have to squint at what they're showing. The Focus option does nothing. We used to be able to full screen shared screens and see everything at the proper size. It is unprofessional of Microsoft to keep removing and changing useful features without any notice.

Thank you for your feedback! We are working to add ‘full screen’ to the new meetings experience. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

With the lastest update, I found that the "full screen" has gone. This one allows you to watch the presenter screen with the same size. Now you have "focus" wich all the time displays the participants. Please bring it back and also let focus there as option. Thanks.

Focus mode implemented with the Version (1.3.00.21759) does not allow the actual full screen instead the Options pane stays fixed at the top which was not the case before the update.
Earlier only when the mouse cursor is moved after entering full screen mode, the Options pane would appear else it would remain hidden. Now with the latest update, this is not the case.
Have included snapshots of the before and after versions.
Appreciate if this could be reverted.

Agree. Half the screen is blocked by the teams bars leaving a tiny place for the displayed screen. Need the full screen option to add so much more efficiency.

It's really hard to read text on a shared screen without a real full screen mode.
We ware a software development company and often share screens with Visual Studio. It's very difficult to read the text with the shared screen being so small because of the wasted space at the top / bottom.

When I turn on new meeting experience, I cannot find Full Screen when clicking three dots (more option). Focus is not the same as Full Screen. I use full screen each every time when we have Teams meeting in order to see shared screen more easily. Please keep this feature.

When we have the "New Meeting Experience" turned on and someone is sharing the screen, we currently don't have the option to enter full screen like in Skype. It would be great to have a enter full screen option. the best option we have right now is "Focus" mode and manually zoom in but it is still not full screen and not user friendly.

Is there a way to increase the share screen option to "truly" full screen? Currently when you share your screen using Teams, other people only see a small window with very THICK bezels on all 4 sides (top, bottom, especially large bezels on left and right side that are a colossal waste of real estate). Not only this is a waste of screen real estate, it also means the screen share is small and hard to see for most people!! How to increase the screenshare window without those bezels? I have asked this to everyone I know and no one knows the answer.

Agree please bring back the full screen mode option for the new popup meeting screen. Focus mode is not good enough at all.

Suggestion: Please implement a simple intuitive graphic expand button (e.g., Youtube) to choose screen mode. "Focus" mode seems to be too complicated to infer... and is located under the dot. dot. dot. making it even more difficult. Thank you

the new upgrade is awesome and way easier to present, if you can just add the full screen option back that will be great

Hello, we know that there exists an option 'Focus mode' however, we the action button on top right won't go away and they consume part of my screen. I'd appreciate if these action buttons can disappear. :) Thanks

Please allow full screen option for pop out meeting window. The 'focus' button is not adequate to meet requirement for larger view.

The latest update did one great thing, that is put the floating control bar on top on the window, thus avoiding obstruction of presentation.
But at the same time it took away a more important feature, the ability to go full screen. This is very disappointing and unbecoming of Microsoft -

After the Meeting screen is moved to new screen, we are not able to see "full screen mode " option. Please enable it like in the previous when the meeting was part of integrated with single Teams window

I turned off the new video call window (preview feature), because I couldn't find any way to make the video part of the window go full-screen. This is needed because often the person sharing their screen has very small text. Otherwise, I can't read their text.

Focus mode is not an adequate alternative, as it is smaller than full screen. Zoom requires moving the shared screen around, without knowing on what part the presenter is focusing.

Would be better to be able to see more of the screen in a meeting. All of our users are commenting on this.
