Why did Teams remove the full screen option during Screen Sharing and Meetings?!?
Why did Teams remove the full screen Option during Screen Sharing and Meetings? This was an option before and now it's been replaced by "Focus" which DOES NOT do the same thing. Now ever time someone share their screen with me, I have to squint at what they're showing. The Focus option does nothing. We used to be able to full screen shared screens and see everything at the proper size. It is unprofessional of Microsoft to keep removing and changing useful features without any notice.
Thank you for your feedback! We are working to add ‘full screen’ to the new meetings experience. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
I need "full screen mode" back on my laptop the soonest ! thanks

There used to be a full-screen mode in meetings but now it is gone. To me, this is a huge step backward! Please add the full-screen mode back as soon as possible! All my team members are preferring Zoom over Teams now since Teams seems to have been removing features instead of adding new features (like annotation).

Agree! As well as other users will happen, I have the need for the full screen option because I have a screen 14-inch laptop. Please reconsider!

We noticed after "Turning on new meeting experience (New meetings and calls will open in separate windows. Requires restarting Teams.)" , the "full screen" mode is no more available, while changed to "Focus" mode + zoom function.
It is very good to have separating windows for Teams meeting and messaging, but it will be better if we can have the FULL SCREEM mode back during Teams meeting. "Focus + Zoom" is ok, but sometimes we do need Full Screen mode, so that to have the same view with the presenter.

With small laptops (my son's school computer) it's really hard to see the presenter's screen share. Especially with all the other buttons and icons hogging all the screen real estate. Please add this feature of showing the presenter in FULL SCREEN.

Microsoft Teams の新しい会議エクスペリエンス利用時の全画面表示について
Full screen view when using the new meeting experience in Teams
Microsoft Teams
If you use Teams’ “New meeting experience”, the “full screen view” function disappears.
If you maximise the meeting window, the “focus” function can be used to get a function close to the full screen view, but it’s a bit smaller when compared to the previous full screen view, so please make it possible to use the full screen view as before.
Please restore the "Full screen" option. Having a smaller "focused" view is such a step backward.

The full screen feature helps a lot when working with the developers based offshore - most time the fonts are not really easy to read and the full-screen helps a lot.
I have started using "New Meeting Experience (New meetings and calls will open in separate windows.)". When someone shares screen though, I can no longer "Enter Full Screen" to see the shared content. On a laptop screen, I can't make out the text of what is shared when I can't go full screen to hide the windows bar, settings bar at the top, & attendees bar at the bottom. The "Enter Full Screen" option existed when I was in the original Teams mode where the meeting opened in the same window, just need this mapped over. I am attaching files showing old and current

Ctrl+Scroll to zoom helps a little bit, but it doesn't compete with Full Screen mode.

Being able to Ctrl+Scroll to zoom in and out helps a bit / is better than nothing, but Full Screen mode really needs to come back.

Removing full screen feature is causing problems while viewing screen during sharing session on 14 inch screen laptop.
The new windows have 2 permanent tool bars at the top of the screen, meaning that even when you select "focus", the shared screen is not full screen. This massively hampers screen shares for documents/programming as opposed to presentations
When someone is presenting, i cannot see the full screen. Rather i see only the screen presented inside the teams window. The Focus option doesn't help much as well.

Screen content on the laptop screen is also reduced by the persistent call control tool bar. It is a must that the shared content can be seen better.
Focus Mode - helps a little but it should be like double click or a button like in Skype as I tend to miss out content or language when doing this focus mode.
Hi, I like that video calls in Teams now open a new window. However, I would really like to be able to enter full screen. It really helps when someone is sharing their screen with me. Sometimes the text is too small otherwise.

since microsoft has disabled full screen mode (which , they should not have), they should automatically close ALL the threads related to enter full screen mode !!!
Same problem here. The reduction of screen size breaks readability of fonts. On my screen, the shared session is only 83% in size. This limitation is new since version 1.3.00.21759, before, I was able to do full screen, see the two screen shots
currently the new feature of dedicated window for calls. But when screen sharing done, the screen will not appear full screen even though "Focus" option is chosen. We should be able to see the full screen as in skype.
