Why did Teams remove the full screen option during Screen Sharing and Meetings?!?
Why did Teams remove the full screen Option during Screen Sharing and Meetings? This was an option before and now it's been replaced by "Focus" which DOES NOT do the same thing. Now ever time someone share their screen with me, I have to squint at what they're showing. The Focus option does nothing. We used to be able to full screen shared screens and see everything at the proper size. It is unprofessional of Microsoft to keep removing and changing useful features without any notice.
Thank you for your feedback! We are working to add ‘full screen’ to the new meetings experience. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
Who ever thought getting rid of "Full Screen" should be fired.
seriously, Put back "full screen". How ridiculous.

This is really frustrating. I used this feature very often and then it just dissappeared. I have to ask presenters to go full screen or zoom in to offset the fact I don't have this anymore. Bad form Microsoft.
who in the right mind decided that removing the fullscreen option was an option!?

Hi Alex, Do you have a time line? Will it be in 1 month, 6 month, 1 year?

"Full screen" should imply "Focus" and should hide the toolbar by default. I should be able to move my mouse to the top of the screen to make the meeting controls / toolbar re-appear and choose to pin the controls or the participant list as I please. But Full Screen should really mean "the presented content takes up all of the viewing real-estate on this monitor; extra clicks or mouse moves are required to find toolbars / meeting controls".
Please just bring back fullscreen.
No new glitter dust feature.
No pink elphant unicorn UI.
No additional hundreds of other features.

The content should always be full-screen (to the screen border of the hardware) as default, with menu-items, participants as a floating overlay. As Teams is today, the content (video or screenshare) is squeezed my those menu components and end up with an effective view of 60% of the full potential.
Please fix this as soon as possible, not possible to see when shreensharing is on, on the laptop

It is very annoying to have the meeting without full screen.
Not only fullscreen, but this version is pretty unstable! The entire enterprise that I work hated this version... Microsoft must rollback to the old version and test a little more before to push the update.
The Microsoft is using the end users to test the beta software. Where are the Beta Testing Program?
Microsoft is the billion-dollar company and yet produce products full of bugs and design new versions of UI with complete disrespect to the community, who was used to their features and had hard time to find the familiar controls after new releases. Outsourcing the former "world-famous" product is the chip and disrespectful way to do business. No wonder the community is leaning towards non-Microsoft shtuff...
I dedicated 25 years to Microsoft technologies as a software engineer, and now I regret that I did not learn Java back then.
Yes, we need full screen back.

Agree with this completely. This seems a feature that was crazy for Microsoft teams development to get rid of when pushing an update? Please learn from Zoom, Google, Webex, and the many, many, many other apps that perform similar screen sharing and functionality about what features are considered 'critical'. If your update is going to eliminate one of those critical features, WAIT on your update. Functionality like this being eliminated from a software update for a massive tool of this caliber to me seems like a way to get a whole team fired. A massive 'career limiting move'.
Definitely need an option to have the shared content showed at the full resolution. Scaling it down makes it hard to read what is shown.I really don't need to see the top bar, taskbar and numerous button on the screen during conference.
We want FULL SCREEN MODE please add this feature again to Teams, its too hard not to full the screen in our meetings!!
please put back full screen option instead of focus option. No need to see title bar with the ribbon of buttons and "windows start bar"

Make this the default and if you wan to see video of others have that as a option.
Please can you bring back Full Screen when using the new meetings pop out? It's a nightmare not having it, especially when I'm using my 13" laptop for watching a presentation.
