Why did Teams remove the full screen option during Screen Sharing and Meetings?!?
Why did Teams remove the full screen Option during Screen Sharing and Meetings? This was an option before and now it's been replaced by "Focus" which DOES NOT do the same thing. Now ever time someone share their screen with me, I have to squint at what they're showing. The Focus option does nothing. We used to be able to full screen shared screens and see everything at the proper size. It is unprofessional of Microsoft to keep removing and changing useful features without any notice.

Thank you for your feedback! We are working to add ‘full screen’ to the new meetings experience. We will share an update as soon as one is available.

When is this update to add Full Screen going to be back. I am not able to do Teams meetings with clients as they are not able to see well when I am sharing my screen. they need the full screen so it doesn't make it smaller. I know am paying for Teams, can't use it, and paying extra to have Zoom.

Can't you press ctrl and zoom with your mouse wheel to do zoom in?

Any ETA yet? Very significant shortcoming especially when viewing screen sharing on a laptop.

Any idea how long it will take to implement the "full screen" capability in MS Teams?

We definitely need full screen option for screen sharing content. Even zoom is sometimes necessary to see presenters screens with higher resolution than the viewer. How did this get removed? What were you thinking????

For the love of god bring it back. I am being asked to go to another solution because this is gone. Everyone HATES it.

And please allow to hide all participants and videos. If I want to use my full screen, it means full screen without the images of people participating at the bottom. If I want to see the people, I have that option on top.

I have transitioned from LifeSize to Teams. Most things are easier, but Teams does not have the shared screen pop out. This feature is needed when working with multiple monitors.

Zoom or at least a option to show screen share in actual size and pan around like Skype allows for today is necessary to be able to see details in diagrams or actually read content in cells in excel spreadsheets if the user sharing have a huge monitor and yourself is on a small laptop.

Please just do a simple full screen with double click in the content to enable it with full resolution and no onscreen controls to cover our screen.

Please bring full screen viewing to all devices, viewing screen share on phone is painful enough, having controls and user avatars taking up 1/2 the screen is even more painful.
Please just do a simple full screen with double click in the content to enable it with full resolution and no onscreen controls to cover our screen.

Teams need the full screen sharing pop out like I have seen in LifeSize. This allow you to separate the video and the screen share but also the screen share can be sized for a full screen. Those of us with Multi monitor setups need this feature. It is hard to see screen share content when it cannot be maximized.

Teams needs a full screen option without the borders, as well as a way to zoom or magnify what we are looking at. Very frustrating to read Excel spreadsheets and web content.

Agreed. This is an accessibility issue for people who are deaf or hard of hearing who need to see both the screen share AND the video. Often people are communicating in sign language on video. It's too small to make out when they are also sharing their screen.

Full screen is not enough. Please add 'actuall size' as well like in Skype. If the screen size of the shared content is bigger than my display (which in most cases is true, since I work from my tablet) the content would still be small with the full screen functionality. With 'actual size' (or resize by pinching) I would be able to zoom in.

Can we get an update? It's been another month now, and presumably a true full screen option shouldn't be that hard to implement? Particularly since a dev presumably could just fish out an implementation from source history....

Teams evolved to add a "pseudo" full screen. Still fully unsatisfying as the task bar is still there and the title bar also (even though the title as disapeared). Skype and "old" teams meeting experince still much better.

We are migrating from Skype for business to teams, and we still prefer Skype because of the full screen option. It's a very big problem not being able to have this option. I have pretty good eyes, but even for me it's hard to see what's someone sharing.
A veery big plus would be the option to seperate the sharing/full screen window! -

Not having a full screen mode is a reason for me not to use the program. When I'm working with a laptop I can hardly read anything, when a coworker is sharing the screen. We then always have to speak about this topic and the one sharing the screen has to adjust resolution or zoom in if possible.
This is really annoying. It's a good thing that this topic is in your backlog.. please, consider to push it a bit up, or even better, move it into your next sprint :) -

We need "true" full screen. There is now a "fullscreen" option, but it still doesn't put the window at 100%. Selecting both fullscreen and focus still leaves a fat nav/option bar across the top.
Full screen. Full, as in complete, Screen as in the whole thing. You did it right once... is this so hard?
