Add the full screen option during Screen Sharing and Meetings
Why did Teams remove the full screen Option during Screen Sharing and Meetings? This was an option before and now it's been replaced by "Focus" which DOES NOT do the same thing. Now ever time someone share their screen with me, I have to squint at what they're showing. The Focus option does nothing. We used to be able to full screen shared screens and see everything at the proper size. It is unprofessional of Microsoft to keep removing and changing useful features without any notice.
Thank you for your continued feedback. We have not forgotten about this ask, this feature request remains on our backlog. We will share an update as soon as one is available.
While somebody is sharing remote screen in call, we are NOT able to see "Full Screen" option. Please make it simple. Recently I clicked one option unexpectedly, so I'm not able to see "Full Screen" option.
Can you guide me how to revert back my settings.

put the full screen feature back
Or have ability to hide the control panel header or the people footer panels as desired by the user and have the shared screen get bigger as the header or footer gets hidden.

It's ridiculous that Full Screen isn't an option on a program designed to share screens.
Anything that's detail oriented (code, LabView, Excel, etc) is really hard to see on a laptop.
I agree. When someone's screen is shared, it is an entire screen inside a frame inside a window.
I can't read the content.

All in for fullscreen with autohiding controls.
Following a presentation or troubleshooting, which involves reading any default-sized text is a nighmare!

@Phill, it does not when the other person is sharing the screen. This is really basic functionality and it is really needed because Team's interface is a bit bloated and sharing can get difficult to read if you can't do it fullscreen

In the Fullscreen mode, just have the controls (so the top and bottom bars) auto hide/show on mouse-over and everything'll be fine.

Currently, in the "New Teams Meeting" experience, there is only option of "Focus" mode. Need a "Full Screen" view.

In the New Meeting Experience you don't have Fullscreen anymore. And "Focus" doesn't really cut the chase. Fullscreen between identical office monitors gives your the exact experience of the shared screen. The moment you have controls or window frames around it, fonts start to scale, small lines become blurry and so on. So please, add Fullscreen to the New Experience. It's not that hard. Every freakin' browser out there can do it, including Edge. And yes, I want it on F11 while your at it.
Teams used to have a "pin" feature to lock a camera view onto the screen. Teams also had a 'full screen' view that eliminated the Teams interface (for recording).
The latest version of Teams (build 1.3.00.19173 (64-bit)) does not have these features anymore.
They were super useful, as my business department relies on these two features almost exclusively.
Please restore these features.
Shft+F5 doesn't seem to work in my version, the PPT is still there with the Teams border/side-bar

Version 1.3.00.17569 adds ability to pop out meeting screen from Teams. It's fantastic. However, this loses ability to go completely full screen. Would like to see ability to do that, similar to way full screen worked before this version. (Focus mode does help.)

Yes I totally agree with you. There is wasted space on the sides of the screen.
The top and bottom bars are taking space from shared screen which makes many people prefer Zoom when sharing screens.
I think the top menu should be hidden while sharing screen and the bottom menu (other participants cameras) should be on the side and can be moved around.
Can we make Deskop sharing window to full screen, i can see focus option, but it still doesn't make it full screen. If we have full screen view that would help viewing much better during sharing.

Except for my deaf students. When I share my screen, they wouldn't be able to see me signing to them and I wouldn't be able to see them signing back to me.

Need Full Screen View Model for Screen share

This one is a total boomer. We often have to read code on presenter's screen that's a large resolution anyway. All Teams controls taking up so much space makes it impossible to read shard screen easily.
Please fix this.

If I share my screen during a group call - most users can't make the screen i'm sharing full screen on their end - it is centered with black bars on either side. Many users also have smaller screen resolution than I do - so when I share my screen it isn't scaling.
The only solution I've found is to increase the DPI on my screen to 200% just so that people on the call can properly read my screen.
Yes we need the full screen to go by default like Zoom or teh full screen button should be color coded and visible to viewer. Not hidden like it currently is.
Hi, I worked this out this morning for Powerpoint. If you press 'Shift' + F5 it should open full screen for you.
