Images keep disappearing in Wiki - This needs to be fixed
Images keep disappearing in Wiki. This needs to be fixed. You must be able to have reliable images in a Wiki.

Holy Cow. I never in a million years thought this would be an issue.
I just created a complex word document HOW To and then copied it to a wiki page and the images keep disappearing. I had NO idea this Microsoft Teams feature was a TOY and NOT A REAL functioning software product.

We are an engineering company and use a lot of screen snags in our notes a pictures is worth a thousand words. Please address this as soon as possible it is a big selling point for TEAMS in the engineering world.
Fix it ASAP! This is very annoying!
What is the point of being able to put images in if they just disappear? This isn't a feature, its an expectation of the whole wiki function.
Its been over a year and still no fix? Shame.
please fix it

This needs fixing... I'm trying to be a 'Teams Champion' direct everyone to a Wiki for IT issues and none of the screen captures are there... makes me and Teams look very poor. Please fix this!

Really disappointed after putting together extensive documentation in the Teams Wiki to find all the Images missing the next day. The images were also broken/missing in Teams online. The images that were broken appeared to be ones that I pasted in from Word. A couple of images didn't disappear, they were ones I pasted in directly from my image editor. I went through and re-inserted all the images. Really hoping they don't disappear again.
I recently have problem inserting pictures in Wiki page.
The process doesn't end at all (see attached file) and the pop-up doesn't close, but when I checked Site Assets library I see the image uploaded.
If I close the pop-up manually the picture is missing from the wiki page.
From Sharepoint, I downloaded the mht file for the wiki page and found that disappeared images are still linked in the page (<img data-ts-imgid=[...]>).
The attributes are the same for images that are still shown and those that are not (The src values are exactly the same).
One difference I could find is that for disappeared images in tables, there is a <div itemprop="copy-paste-block"> block surrounding the table and the table has the attributes class="copy-paste-table" itemprop="copy-paste-table" appended.
For copy/paste tables with images that not disappear (so far), I have an <div class="copy-paste-block" itemprop="copy-paste-block"> block surrounding the table with no additional attributes. Mz guess is that at some point the attributes are swapped an in one configuration it has issues with other elements.
In the web browser those pictures are just not rendered, there are just empty div elements inside the <td> tags.
Additionally, there are many jquery errors "value not found in enum type. value: " and CORS fails (for the page: https://teams.events.data.microsoft.com/Collector/3.0/?qsp=true&content-type=application%2Fbond-compact-binary&client-id=NO_AUTH&sdk-version=ACT-Web-JS-2.5.0&content-encoding=base64&x-apikey=<apikey>").
In the beginning I had no problems, but after a colleague has edited the wiki page, my changes would also let the pictures disappear.
This knowledge does not help me as I cannot change the source files, but I would be glad if this helps narrowing down the problem and solve it.
Is this for real?! I can't even begin to believe that this isn't fixed. I planned an entire Client Knowledgebase in SharePoint and the wikis have a show stopping bug. Unbelievable actually. Microsoft SharePoint team, get your house in order. This makes my plans to use SharePoint completely worthless, will be looking to switch to Atalssian... begrudgingly at that.
I tried to add each picture separately and that doesn't even work.

Hello, I have something that works (but it is weird)... at least, I think it works.
I was able to get the images to stick to the Teams Wiki by manually copying and pasting each image from a word document. If you copy more than one at once it won't work, but if you go through each one in word, then paste it in the Wiki, is sticks.
Maybe it will break in a day or two, but for now, this has worked.
Just lost a lot of content due to this bug, unbelievable ... This makes the Wiki functionality useless, so frustrating. Sad :-(

Agreed. Lost several hours of work creating, of all things, a "How to use Office 365 apps" internal training document. Did not know this would happen. Doesn't matter whether you are in Edge, Chrome, desktop Teams, etc. Refresh doesn't help. The images are just gone and the wiki is now useless.
Same issue as everyone else describes, on the Desktop app.
A fairly big bug that will hopefully be fixed soon.
After an image has disappeared, an empty line remains. Clicking on it lets a ghost of the image appear for a split second. Only once. To see it again, faulty section needs to lose focus first (meaning: click on another section before clicking on the bad one).
In .mht file the src reference looks like this for lost images:
<img alt data-ts-imgid="img5be2155e8ae6431f85cd190aee7d2efd" height="499" src="blob:https://teams.microsoft.com/e071fc2d-b213-4...." width="854" />
And for existing images:
<img alt data-preview-src="/sites/<team_name>/Teams Wiki Data/Documentation and Manuals/img-42-ff5b2b179d764d2190b.....png" src="https://<companyrelatedurl>.sharepoint.com/sites/<team_name>/_api/web/getfilebyid(%2731410590-a882-41a6-83e5-0e1c.....%27)/$value" data-ts-imgid="imga7b13ab9-3544-4562-9275-a4aa3a7..." data-ts-imglen="31015" height="250" itemtype="http://teams.microsoft.com/WikiImage" style="vertical-align:bottom;" width="130.51750380517504" />

For me, the images don't disappear right away - but when it does it's extremely inconvenient as I may have been using the wiki to take notes in class and my image screenshots gave context to the text entered right after.

Graphics dissapearing without even a message makes the Wiki completely unreliable and unusable. Please fix this.
