Limit Meet Now functionality
We have a number of teams that have a large membership (e.g. 4000 plus members). If someone in that channel clicks to meet now or to schedule a meeting then all members of that team get a notification to join the meeting which a large number of people seemingly immediately click with much confusion ensuing.
I'd like admins to be able to limit at the team / channel level who can schedule meetings to avoid this happening.
Seems like a no brainer. Let the Team Owner choose whether or not to enable Meet Now. Until this happens we have to disable this for the whole org when smaller teams really would like to use it.
Yes...this absolutely needs to happen. It is a nightmare for large teams with many users of limited experience. We have had to revert to using policy to completely turn off this feature. We would much prefer to have it off by default on all Teams and then have a Team Owner permission that could turn it on if desired for a given Team. This really needs to happen!!!
