To use this feature we would need to be able to use this on Windows PCs.

It will be good, if the same app can be used on cross OS platform, especially on Windows / Android / IOS.

This would be ideal for an airport Emergency Operations Center during training and daily functions outside of an emergency event, which is why desktop interface would be ideal.

I would like to add my voice to this request.
It would be great for managers / dispatchers to work with their mobile teams from a desk to manage the floor teams. -

This is needed for rugged windows tablets that delivery drivers use not just for phone devices.

We intend to test Teams Walkie Talkie as PTT system with BT headsets with PTT button within our maintenance department. Dispatch center (Desktop?), supervisor and 10 teams of technicians will be included if the test meets our requirements. One obstacle upfront is the fact that you can connect to one channel only, no possibility to communicate with all teams. Each technician team should communicate within their own team but dispatch center and supervisor need to communicate with all teams, always. Solution could be if you can connect at group level and communicate with subordinate teams.
Teams is great as digital platform for written communication, meetings etc. Walkie Talkie could be the platform for verbal communication as well, but has a disadvantage at the moment. -

I hope Teams ends up with this walkie talkie functionality being a lot like Discord and other PC chat apps. No reason they can't allow for a PTT hotkey or voice activation. Even better if they roll out this type of functionality to any smartphone vs the limited numbers right now.
