Multi-channel Audio - USB interface compatibility
Compatibility for multi-channel USB audio devices (e.g. Focusrite Scarlett 2i2) where there are multiple channels for audio input, only 1 channel appears as the main audio in Teams (e.g. microphone on channel 1, MP3 player on channel 2 - only the channel 1 microphone appears in Teams). Would like to have both audio inputs show up in Teams - e.g. control of background music while speaking through the microphone.

You can have 2 channels in browser version, but not in desktop version. This is a huge shortcoming. I have a workaround, but this requires a Dante-enabled mixer, where it is possible to route the main mix to channel 1-2. But it shouldn't require much work to have this fixed in Teams for the benefit of so many users. Come on, Microsoft!
+1 FWIW this is available in your competitors products; Zoom, Webex
In teaching music it would be great if both mij piano (channel 3+4) and mic (1 or 2) are usable. At least the possibility to select witch channel teams uses seems like a big step forward.
Would be great to collaborate this way while making music..

allowing teams to use a audio interface would solve a lot of problems and endless routing solutions. this would be an useful feature moving forward and would be much appreciated by the community of users.
Multi input interfaces also let the users create sub mix and virtual inputs. This feature request will allow users in the music industry to use teams to stream performances as well.
