Multiple Teams Instances with Remote Desktop
I run teams on both a physical machine that I'm siting at, and remote machine that I am connected to via Remote Desktop. The interaction between notices from the two instances is problematic (for example when a chat event occurs). It would be nice if Teams could be aware of multiple instances linked a remote desktop connection (perhaps by following input activity, or using the features of the RDP API's to exchange information) and automatically silence the instance on the physical computer when I am in a remote session that is showing me the same notice.
Likewise, with this infrastructure in place, you could easily solve other problems, such as asking "On which machine would you like to make/answer this call?"
Maybe this should be a variant on the mini video when you minimized a video call. When you do this on the local instance, the video turns into a mini player/video. But when I open/maximize RDP that player is hidden behind the full screen RDP application (something like that).
The incoming notifications however do still show when a fullscreen application is running. Should, or could, be the same behaviour as the video player.
(Different solution as suggested elsewhere, don't sync notification settings to be able to disable local popups)
