Hide user presence from external contacts
External contacts are able to see your availability in real time which has various implications for security, business operations and relationships. Please include a global option to prevent external contacts from seeing internal user presence.
This should be limited to just the tenant if so desired.
The powershell command:
Set-CsPrivacyConfiguration -EnablePrivacyMode $true allows everyone on your contact list, but it would be nice to limit to just your company (tenant).
This is really bad that this is not an option!
This should absolutely be an option!
I found this article, haven't tried yet. http://terenceluk.blogspot.com/2020/05/enabling-privacy-mode-for-microsoft.html

Agreed with other comments that this should be something that can be suppressed to external contacts.
This could be seen as quite a serious privacy issue for many business. A much needed feature.
Teams is a great tool, and having external users be able to share in the experience is great, but Admins and/or local must be able to limit that access - including presence status. Thank you.
Please include a local setting for users to decide if they want to share it with external contacts or not.
