Turn off meeting chat after the meeting ends.
After the Teams meeting ends the chat is still listed in the chat area. Please remove it when the user leaves the meeting. Also, leave means leave, I don't want to have to hide the chat after I leave. Just close the chat window.

It would be nice if Meetings had their own Category in the pull-down menu...
> Chat (recent)
> Contacts
> Meetings
> [insert other categories here] -

Turning chat off, on a meeting to meeting basis, needs to be an option. This is primarily a factor where this option would be welcomed for external webinar use.

This would need to be an option since sometimes chat is useful after a meeting concludes. Perhaps after the meeting ends ask the organizer to save chat or delete chat?

I actually have the opposite preference, and there's already a way to leave a meeting chat more permanently.
I prefer to still have the meeting chat open when I click Leave for the call itself, because sometimes I'm continuing a chat conversation as the meeting ends. Worse yet, recently I was typing up a detailed message in the meeting chat, and when the meeting ended I lost all the text I had entered!
If you've left the live part of a meeting and want to stop seeing new messages in the chat from the meeting, go to your chat tab, click the three dots next to the meeting chat, and click "Leave" (see attached screenshot). I know it seems redundant to have to "leave" twice, but I actually prefer it that way.
