Teams meeting recording - suppress upload to Stream failure notification
For Teams users that have not been enabled for Stream, after they record a Teams meeting, they encounter a message that informs them their Meeting recording failed to upload to Stream (see the attached screenshot). In such cases, we understand the recording is stored in Azure Media Services for 20-day before it's deleted. We want to know if displaying the recording upload to Stream failure notification can be suppressed by the admin via a policy or by another method.
This may have been resolved in a recent release of Teams. A similar error was produced after a change to A1 licenses that disabled Stream-based recordings of meetings. Microsoft 365 Message Center message #TM220922 indicates that problem, which has the exact same symptoms for a programmatically similar issue, was resolved on September 3.
