Identify Active Speaker More Explicitly
When Teams meetings were only showing 2x2, the ability to identify the active speaker was very easy (only 4 faces to look at). Now with the growth to 3x3, and soon the possibility of 7x7, this will become more challenging.
When a speaker is actively speaking, it is not immediately evident who they are. Other systems have markers that help to ID speakers (Google Hangouts has a green bar under the speaker, Zoom has a green box around the speaker). Both systems also allow you to show the current active speaker in a 'Speaker Mode' opposed to 'Gallery' (Gallery being either 2x2, 3x3, or 7x7).
As Teams now allows for more faces to be seen, the need for this becomes more apparent.
I have found myself quite often searching for the speakers when in larger meetings.
Similar completed request - but this is just for the list of participants: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/36001450-identify-active-speaker
Similar idea - but just wants to show active speaker (without pinning a specific user): https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/40287844-show-just-one-active-speaker-and-ability-to-hide-v

Even for just active participant would we helpful to have the purple highlight more prominient.
The show of people without video, the colored frame, is good, can't there be an colored outline arounde the video also?
