Add Live Reaction Option in meetings
This Live Reaction option (including "Thumbs Up") would be an easy way for Attendees to respond to the Presenter during meetings consisting of more than 15 people. This would prevent mass unmuting of microphones which causes the whole meeting to go out of order and most importantly loses time.
We are glad to announce that Meeting Reactions have started rolling out! You can expect to see this feature in your desktop and mobile clients over the coming week.
Thank you to our Public Preview users who gave us feedback!

Would be great for other sentiment like FB and IG live, where people can heart, like etc.
Make an option to show short reactions in video calls like in skype calls. The icon should appear as layer above the own video from webcam.
Need more than zooms Thumbs Up / Down, Applause. Need Raise Hand, X or Check which would rollup into a summary
maybe adding a normal smile, next to LOL?
Also, would be nice to see all the audiences, like zoom.
Can you please add Hearts or Likes or emojis that we can click when we agree with whatever anyone is saying in mass videocalls/voicecalls? thanks! I hope this will be heard.
Call it 'Applause' and it would be less likely to be used for anything other than praise.
How about "laugh" as well!
Absolutely needed in our meetings.
I'm in desperate need for this feature.. due thursday apr 30th =D
De we have any updates on it?

Quick Reactions to presenter. Laughter, claps, hearts, whatever...Good for training and seminars to presenter to get reactions on presentation when everyone is muted.
Please consider adding a 'Claps' emoticon or reaction that helps users to recognise team members in larger group meetings. This is useful for all hands, quarterly or annual meetings where team members are recognised
And also a Yes/No reaction to agree/disagree.

I also believe this is a valuable feature to ensure engagement with the audience. For implementation, emojo's onto screen possibly as an option as well (thumbs up, love etc)
It's urgently needed!
Just attended a moderate-sized Live Event, and the lack of ability to show appreciation was off-putting.
Rather than an "audible" applause, I would be interested in having something similar to Facebook Live Streaming events where reactions appear visibly on the screen somehow. Or perhaps whether reactions are audible could be configured?
Having some way to give kudos would certainly help meetings and events feel more sociable, and would help some presenters feel more than they are not presenting in a black box.

Meetings and events feel dead when there is no applause. Since most people put themselves on mute to avoid adding noise and echo to the event, an applause button should work. Here are some ideas for how the applause works:
- The claps should deliberately be unsynchronized so the applause sounds like a real crowd and sounds different depending on the number of the people who claps.
- Have loud, medium, and soft clap so the attendees can show how much or how little they like the speakers line.
- Allow meeting host to disable applause for meetings where applause is not appropriate.

I would also add a no feature. The yes / no and raise hand should be apart of a tool bar for the video conference.

I'd like to see this. We do demos as a team and would normally clap after a person has finished their demo - but it's a bit awkward to turn on the mic and clap when we're all working remotely, so generally people don't. People work around it by putting applause gifs in the chat, which is great but not quite the same. A button to trigger a short applause sound would be really neat.

Great idea. This would allow people to indicate they like something or find something funny without having to constantly unmute/mute. The result is a much better experience for the presenter who feels they're being heard.
