Do not show "'Collaborate From Anywhere Chat in real time, meet online and share files all in one place." in Outlook
When opening Outlook 2016 recently, users were greeted with the info bar and a link to download Teams. We don't use or install Teams with office and I'd appreciate it if MS stopped trying to force their app on my staff. I worked with 365 support to find the only way to prevent this was to turn off shared experiences, which also breaks functionality we do use. Please stop trying to force firms to use the tools you want and allow us to use what already works for us.

This is happening again with other Office applications, encouraging users of Word and Excel to work on the file in Teams instead. Does anyone know how to turn this advertising off?

This practice of cramming down apps and asking the end users to harass the IT teams into enabling it is completely out of control. If Teams was even remotely competitive with other services or if it did not cause such an administrative and security nightmare it would be a different story, but the fact is the way Microsoft enabled teams and gave basic users the extraordinary ability to treat the company GAL and Sharepoint enviroment like the Wild West was reckless.
If you are listening Microsoft, let me ME and my business decide what we are going to deploy and when we are ready. Don't post these banner messages on my end users computers and cause my team to get hundreds of unnecessary tickets then burden me with having to figure out how to disable your poor decision
