Support Plantronics BlackWire C320-M
In spite of a prior thread and claim that this issue has been resolved, it has not. The Plantronics BlackWire C320-M headset works great with Skype for Business. The physical buttons light and are fully functional.
With the Teams application, however, the buttons do not light and are not functional. It is super annoying to have to find and use the virtual toolbar on the screen when the Plantronics headset has physical buttons. This is especially true when leading a class. To have to move the mouse around just to do a quick mute, is inefficient, to say the least.
Our entire team has these headsets which have worked well with Skype for Business. We certainly do not want to make another investment in hardware. Please get the appropriate drivers (or whatever) launched so that this headset is fully functional with Teams. Thank you.
So I don't know if this will help anyone else but after this problem bugging me for ages, I have finally found a way around it. If you have Skype but don't use it (installed automatically with Windows 365) you need to stop it. Open Skype and go to settings>Personal. Deselect Automatically start the app when I log into Windows and start the app in the foreground and click OK. Make sure you exit Skype. (File>Exit)
I don't know if you have to have the Plantronics hub installed (I have) but in case you do, go to settings and make sure the target softphone is Microsoft Teams. If you scroll down the list you should see Teams is connected.(Green tick beside it)
Job done, now you can use the inline buttons to answer calls.
I have the same problem with the Plantronics C320 headset. Volume control works, but call answer and mute do not work. This could solve a driver update. Is Plantronics willing to follow up here? Our whole company (>500 employees) works with it.
When can we expect a solution to this request?
I'm using Plantronics BT300C-M and PLT Focus which are both working before but now the
buttons aren't synching
I have exactly same issue, it works properly in July, so I don't know if any change made in that period

I have a C3220 same issue. Now that I closed the Skype at least buttons light up. Although, mute is terrible. I'm able to get on mute by pressing it, but do not appear on Teams interface. If I mute on Teams it will also light up, but will not get back to unmute if I press the button. I have to click on the mic on the screen. So annoying.
