In-video silent responses
This isn’t a new idea. Unfortunately there are so many ideas about this that it’s diluting the strength of interest.
Teams needs the similar features to other learning environments which allow for in-video silent responses. Blackboard is a good example. You’ve got a green tick for yes/agreed and a red X for no/declined and emoticon mood responses too, e.g. Happy. Business meetings need this as well as education. It’s human nature for the presenter to ask if everyone is ok or agrees and in large meetings you can’t have everyone unmuting and speaking their response. A simple silent response works really well in teaching environments as they would in a business meeting. We can react a bit in chat but it needs to be on the video toolbar for display on both the corner of the video and against the participant list, where it works best for Learning too.
