Share to Outlook does not send whole conversation
When you select Share to Outlook for a long conversation, the whole conversation should be sent in the email.
What actually happens:
The email you receive is limited to somewhere between 250 and 200 latest replies and will not have the full conversation.
This severely limits the usefulness of this function, and for teams that have longer conversations, makes it useless.
Can you please fix this bug?
This is still an issue.
If you try to open a large channel conversation in Teams, it takes forever to load, and you have to manually click many times on "See previous replies", so this is not very user friendly.
If you then get a message in a different channel, while you are trying to read, you will have to switch away and lose your place ENTIRELY!
Emailing does not send the full conversation, so Teams is basically unusable at a professional level.
I guess Microsoft expects us to keep all our conversations in channels to only 50 replies or so, and only have one conversation at a time.
I agree. Its quite frustrating that you cannot share an entire conversation. I require the ability as for initiatives I am leading I receive feedback through various communication vehicles and MSTeams is only one - if i could 'share to outlook' an entire conversation, it would be much easier to collate.
I agree. I don't even know why you would want part of a conversation instead of the whole.
I second the motion. It's bad enough Teams is limited when viewing conversation threads with multiple replies as you have to keep clicking on expand multiple times, but sending to Outlook should provide the WHOLE conversation, not part of it, and even then the part it DOES include isn't from the beginning to halfway mark. No, it randomly chooses in the middle of the conversation and emails it.
For a product my team and I use on a daily basis to keep in the know that is unacceptable and should be looked into immediately. Thank you for your assistance.
