pop out meeting share / pop out screen share window
pop out meeting share / pop out screen share window
Would like to be able to pop out the window for a meetings screen share or call with screen share to maximise the window but still be able to use other Teams features at the same time

Same as Kevin/Randy/Richard/Pavan/Mike/Andy - would like separate popout window for viewing the screenshare so I can continue using chat/video/whiteboard on another screen at the same time.

With working fully remote, being able to see my co-workers and the shared screen at the same time is a necessity. Being able to "pop out" the shared screen onto one of my larger monitors would be a game changer.

We need this function for our office as we use multiple display screen for hybrid online training and meeting.

Agreed! We should be able to see BOTH the screen share AND the participants' video at the same time!

This is a huge one for me, my company was previously acquired and and we have moved from ZOOM to TEAMS and ZOOM had this feature which made it easy to see everyone and see the screen share.

Yes, need this functionality since most of us work on two monitors.

EXTREMELY frustrating coming over from Skype for Business. Why does one Microsoft product have this functionality but the other doesn't?

This would be great. Many of us are using two monitors, often a laptop with a large monitor. Would be great to be able to put the shared screen on the large monitor and the chat video on the monitor with the camera.

Yes please. Or at least a function that says "Disable notifications during screen share".
I wrote a private message to a colleague and it appeared as a notification pop up in the call because his screen was shared. -

The "new" meeting view where meetings pop out in their own window is nice, but it's still annoying during a meeting to have to toggle back and forth between shared content and everyone's videos when I have three screens to spread out on.

The "shared" screen is rather small inside the meeting window, so a pop-out with the presented content would be very usefull.

This is hugely beneficial for people with dual screens or people using Teams in meeting rooms. I am surprised there are not more votes for it.

Yes please. I would love to be able to break out the presentation into a separate window on another monitor so that I can have this and the meeting window with the video streams of all participants both running full screen on separate monitors.

Yes, I would LOVE the ability to put the shared screen full-size on its own monitor, and still have the video feed full-size. NOTE: this is not the same as popping out a meeting into its own window; this is popping the screen share out of the meeting.
(Agreeing with Ole M, Fabrice, Vignesh)Folks who like this idea might want to vote for or add comments to this feature that is already on the backlog: https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/31661131-video-screen-size-when-sharing-screen

Yes Please. I want to be able to see the faces of my Team members and the shared in screen in two different monitors. Now i just see a small ribbon of my team in the bottom of the screen and the shared screen on the top.

Fully agree with @Ole M!

From the other comments here I see that it is not clear what exactly is requested here.
In "The new meeting experience" meetings are popped out into separate windows (though not yet with fullscreen ability). That is probably nice for some, when they are in multiple chats/meetings at once.
What I would appreciate more is the OPTION to pop out a shared screen to its own window. That way I can have shared content on one screen, and still see the people in the meeting on another.
This pop-out should be a clean viewer and does probably not need any controls apart from fullscreen. -

Would like to be able to pop out meetings or screen sharing calls so I can have that in a separate window while still having access to my chats and teams. This is a must.

Even if you pop out all current conversations if anyone reacts to a message you still have to click off the video to get rid of notifications
