TAPI for crm integration
Our VoIP phone system is up for renewal in 18months. I'd like to move the company across to Teams for telephony but without TAPI I cant do that. Any chance of creating a Teams TAPI extension our plugin so we can use with a variety of CRMs?
I am a voip consultant. The only way i can think of you getting this feature to present calls via TAPI whilst using Teams as a primary solution is the use a Hosted style SIP product via Direct Routing instead of MS Calling plans.
if the MS User is associated with a number/user on a hosted platform via a direct routing portal then a tapi dialling application can be deployed to be the connection to the call/sip channel.
Basically, it's doable.... but it wont be without some transfer of services etc......
