Automatically remove single occurrence attendees from reoccurring Teams Meeting group chats
If someone is added to a single occurrence of a reoccurring Teams Meeting they are also added to the meeting group chat; however will continue to be active (send and receive) in the meeting group chat for future meeting occurrences of which they're not participating in. The individual must either manually remove themselves from the group chat or someone from the meeting must manually remove them. If this is missed, it can potentially result in confidential or undesired information being inadvertently shared with the wrong people.
I would like for the Teams app to be intelligent enough to identify that the attendee is only participating in one meeting occurrence and automatically remove them from the group chat once that meeting occurrence has finished.

Agree with this but also remove chat history so when a NEW single instant Invitee joins they don't see the entire re-occurring meeting chat history. Or at least give us the option to turn it on and off per meeting.
Big time - would help us a lot!

this is really needed, a big potential data integrity risk.
Same issue here, was told by support "working as designed".
