Let Customers choose where to store files in Teams
Teams currently does not allow customers to choose and restrict where all files uploaded by users are stored. The native paperclip tool, files tab, and drag-and-drop all route to OneDrive and SharePoint; these cannot be turned off. Companies like mine need the ability to ensure that users put all files into a different cloud storage platform already integrated with Teams (such as Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or Egnyte). This confusing UX and risk of data leakage hurts our ability to govern content throughout our company the way we want. Please empower admins with the ability to standardize on Teams for collaboration and on a different vendor for file storage.
