Teams - Meeting's Task Bar
Ability to move (click/drag) meeting's task bar, while presenting/screen sharing (like you're able to in Zoom). Next, the ability to move task bar from one display to another, to eliminate "task bar distraction". Finally, team's should offer "auto-hiding" of this task bar by default, when screen-sharing.
See attached image for what I mean by "meeting task bar"...

Is there a timeline for this fix? The task bar in the middle of a conference call is a major nuisance that makes users less inclined to use Teams for meetings. One should be able to anchor it at the top or bottom, or hide it altogether. It obstructs the view when one is trying to share a screen with others.
Meeting task bar should be on top of the page or with side menubar itself...self mute status should appear always prominently
Yep, rubbish that you can’t hide the task bar or at least move it out the way.
I use team meetings for my kid's therapy sessions and most of the time the task/control bar is in the way of the presentation. i could disable the touch screen. i could disable the mouse pad but it's a lot of hassle. i hope Microsoft fixes this soon or at least gives us alt options.
Is this new? Recently i received a lot of user requests about this.
It can really block parts of the shared content

I need this very much. The bar blocks the names of everyone in the meeting and is extremely distracting. Moving my mouse away from the window does not auto hide the task bar.
Please move these annoying bar teams!!!! how can you give such ****** thing in the middle of the screen
I agree. We're all day long in Teams meetings now and this is getting really frustrating. Teams is great but we need to be able to minimize or move the task bar during meetings. There are many other versions of this same complaint across your forums and those of partner sites. Thank you.
Agree - the task bar is VERY distracting and we should have the option to move or hide it.
If you have nine users on the screen, on video, the only way you can see their names is to display the task bar... however, the bar ALWAYS covers up the full names of the two people on the bottom right of the screen. Task bar needs to be OFF the main screen and movable. Attached example of how task bar covers up the participant names... if you hide the task bar, the names no longer display on the screen, so you can't see them either way.

Users in our organization have complained as well. Many people commenting in the thread below but so few upvoting this request...

I completely agree as this has been problematic for me as well. Not just when presenting myself but also when others present and you'd like to take a screenshot without the taskbar in it.
