Apply "Fit to Frame" to all participants
Ability to have all participants fit to frame, rather than having to go to each participant to manually have them fit to frame.
Also, have this as a setting that can be saved for all meetings the user joins.

This is critical in a hybrid work environment. I can't believe this is still not done in nearly 1-1/2 years! This is required for multiple people on one camera, meeting rooms with wide angle lenses, and any "well produced" production using something like OBS to incorporate graphics overlays and branding.

This is a must for people from a conf room
We use teams as online collage, but the docent desk is at one site of the classroom.
Now if the teacher is showing a PowerPoint, Teams crops of the person behind the desk.
Lets organisators of a meeting decide that the force that or please provide the option (maybe with policy) that admins can force this setting.
This is urgent!!

Much needed feature as we deploy Teams room with Framing cameras. We will lose the people on the edges of the rooms when Frame is set to "Fill Frame" and most customers really dont know to change the view.

+1 indeed. Great for conference rooms or when using Virtual Webcams from OBS, with multiple video sources or motion graphics for example.
Would be a needed Feature, especially after Corona, if more than one is sitting in Front of the same WebCam, or you use a Company Background with a Brand on one Side of the Background-Picture!
This is a much needed feature as wide angle conference cameras are the standard in new conference environments.

We would love to see this feature as it has become a major requirement from many customers.
Thank you ~~
Would love this to be a thing. We have a widescreen webcam for our conference room and for all users it moves between widescreen and cut off at the edges.

Can we have this for team rooms, everyone is cut out from the sides and only shows the tables in the middle of the meeting rooms.

+1 Global setting to setting the Teams Video conferences participant Videos to "Fit to Frame". At the very least some way to configure it on the client vs clicking on each individual participant.
We have a possibility of running presentation as part of video feed, so this would be perfect to make sure no participant is missing detail because parts of presentation are cropped. Askin each participant to click Fit to Frame is kind of lame when trying to be professional...

Also to set is as the default preference instead of having to do it each meeting.
YES YES YES YES YES! This is huge! There must be some IT developmental challenge explanation for why this hasn't happened yet.. software just needs to know whether someone joining is on LANDSCAPE mode or PORTRAIT mode.
This will prevent everyone saying "well Rob, that's a really interesting point you made, but I wish I could see more than your forehead while you were saying it" ... it's usually when someone joins on mobile, but can be on any device, depending on the aspect ratio. Have to respect the aspect ratio.
Google Meet and Zoom don't have this problem!

Microsoft should really implement this
