Change the location of a channel folder in Sharepoint
If I make a new channel, I should be able to pick where its corresponding folder is stored on Sharepoint, or even to pick an existing folder. Making each channel a top level folder is a good DEFAULT, but should not be the only option.
We are a consulting firm with literally 100s of projects. Each project gets a channel. We also use our Sharepoint library to store lots of other things that arent in channels. We want to have a reasonable file structure in Sharepoint, with all projects under Projects > Client Name > Project Name. Having literally 100s of top level folders makes it impossible to find our other folders not from teams channels, like financial folders, management folders, training folders, etc.
Forcing everything to be a top level folder is unworkable in an environment where we need 100s of channels, most of which are archived projects and out of use.
Not being able to pick an existing folder as the primary channel files tab also makes it difficult to start a channel after we've begun using Sharepoint for that effort to store files. (I know you can add a new tab but it is confusing with two "files" tabs and it also doesn't have all the same features.)
The result is we would have to stop using Sharepoint to manage files if it's connected to a team with channels. Thats silly - we should be able to use both.

A simple "Channels" top-level folder that contains all of the files from the channels would be great
