Multiple Windows open @ once
It would be nice to be able to open multiple windows of Teams at once. For example: a chat window, a Teams window, a planner window all at the same time.

Such a basic feature, please implement it soon

If I am giving feedback on assignments and get a message, I either have to ignore it, or when I click to see what it says, it takes several clicks to get back to what I was doing. There should be a way to right-click on Chat to see it in another window, at least.

This is really needed. Many people have more than one screen and it would be good to ab able to make notes, add actions etc on separate screens. It would so much improve productivity on Teams and encourage me to use it more.

This is huge! There is currently NO ability to multitask in Teams. We need to be able to do different things in different windows. I wish I could vote this one 50 more times.

Would be awesome. 1 screen taking notes about the meeting and another screen adding "Tasks" to the planner

Agree as well, it would really help when you are moving your files, plans, chats e t c to Teams. We moved from ProjectPlace and really misses the ability to have 2 or 3 windows open at the same time.

Agreed. It would be awesome to have multiple chats open at once, a file (without opening on desktop) and a chat open at the same time, etc.

Absolutely, you have my 1 vote and my full team of 10. This was my first bug bear of Microsoft teams: the linear and slow way of navigating it.
A lot of our work we do on Teams, and while we are on a conference call, we also use the teams post + files + tabs functionality. Plus, many of us have multiple screens, so i'd like one screen to have the Teams conference call in full screen, and my other screen for browsing Teams Files or Tabs.
In other cases, our work is quite responsive, and so we can jump from answering a quick chat, to going back to the file we were working on (or a long post we were responding to). To be able to go to the quick chat or action point in a new window would be v efficient.
Also consider doing this with shortcuts like CTRL-T (windows, and google chrome uses this)
Please add this feature.

This is really critical. Please consider adding this function as soon as possible. In our organization, our projects are added as channels for our Team named "Project". Thus, all project artifacts are stored as files under each channel. Now, if one is working on multiple projects and using the MS Teams application to edit a Word document as an example, it is not possible on the Desktop app.

Most missing feature for work at PC as all in one is good but all in one Window a massive restriction

My usual work pattern for everything else includes having multiple files open if different windows. Imagine if the normal word application, outlook or your browser limited you to one windows. It seem like an extremely odd missing feature.
Windows used to be important to microsoft ;-) -

I agree with this. I would like to be able to have a window open for the active meeting as well as a window for other incoming chats that are not related to the meeting at the same time.
