Team shows away when we work on other pages
Team showing the status as away when i work on other pages.
I have the same problem on my work laptop which only started within the last week I also have 2 additional monitors. From inception of MS Teams installed, I had Teams settings marked to register Teams as chat app for office. I thought maybe this was the issue and unchecked that option.
Unfortunately, the issue continues. I have Teams minimized and when working with Excel, after awhile, my status will show as away.
With more people working from home, due to the pandemic, it is important that our managers know we are actively working and showing as available and not as away. Please fix this.
Yes, folks in our organization are seeing this as well. New behavior within the last 3-4 weeks, probably. Please fix!
This only recently started happening in Teams. Please set it back to the way it was previously. Ridiculous to show you away if working on something else for 5 minutes!
Please allow us to set the "Away" or "Idle" time like we are able to do in Skype or Lync. When I am in a WebEx or Zoom or GoToMeeting, after 5 minutes, Teams marks me as away instead of showing me busy. This is unacceptable.
