When are 3x3 or 7x7 grids coming? It would improve my Linux+Teams experience a lot.

I also can not switch organization. This is highly problematic for professional use of the client.

1) Cannot switch organization.
2) Voice/video quality is not the same as with other clients (Zoom, Jitsi, ...) This is especially problematic as there is research on the impact of bad voice quality (The work presented is not seen as important when the voice quality is bad)
3) Sync problems with voice/video
4) Reconnect when using SSO certificates (Especially bad in meetings - which also takes away professionalism...) -

This is really important to us in a large org with a mixture of Windows, macOS and Linux deployed. It is important for everyone to participate equitably.

The Cannot Switch Organisation issue in the Linux client has been picked up by a Microsoft employee at https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/349378/cannot-switch-organization-in-linux-app.html

@James raising your hand is possible on Linux (at least that...)

switching to other tenants where I'm invited as a guest user stopped working on Linux. Can anyone confirm?
BTW: I'm guest in a MS tenant. 3x3 works fine on Linux in the MS tenant. -

Please please add more than 4 video streams. I swear this was enabled at one time, I saw it for myself but was quickly removed, worked great for me though!

Is there an ETA for adding the Backround feature to the Linux version, also OpenSUSE Leap? Like we have on the Tema Windows and Mac versions.

@James your example is exactly why Microsoft isn't going to make their Linux client better. They want people to stay on Windows.

I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows 10 on my laptop, if the Linux client had features like raising your hand and 3x3 grid, Ubuntu would be the only Operating System on my laptop. I did try the web version but you can only see one person at a time.

Sharing a single window is why I'm sticked to https://github.com/IsmaelMartinez/teams-for-linux/releases/tag/v1.0.6
Why it's possible to fix this topic for an open source developer? Why can't it be done in official client? -

I'm at a loss about how we actually get Microsoft's attention on this. Microsoft has announced they will be discontinuing uservoice. At somepoint, this uservoice page (along with all the votes and comments) will be gone. The feedback link in Teams still just leads here. The only other option that allows public comments is techcommunity. I found 2 posts on there about the state of Linux teams. One received a generic non-response from Microsoft. The other was deleted as "not applicable" with no explanation.
I would encourage everyone here who has an enterprise agreement or other contacts at Microsoft to raise the issues with Teams and concerns regarding the cancelling of uservoice. Once they kill this thread, the only viable option for feedback seems to be making new posts on techcommunity and hoping they don't get deleted like the other one was.

To be honest it is a little absurd that the blur and custom background has not made it over yet. I could honestly care less about any of the other features. We all know it's possible on Linux too since most of us are probably using a virtual camera and some random 3rd party python application to create a similar but overall less quality effect.
